Yeah Etihads a good airline, flown with them 3 times in the past I quite like the stopover, splits the journey up a bit. I've just booked EVA direct for just over £500 not used them before but wont remember much with the Vallium Tab.

They are a good airline, did the Abu Dhabi stopover as well. Only prob was it was the first time I'd expierenced the Arab world so much, never saw a woman in a burka before and the Quran prayer before the flight and Arabic being first language etc... but apart from that it was nice flight and the staff on the plane are very professional.

 

Was that through their site as looking for flights in April

yup, thats a good price you got there fisher. i travelled etihad last trip and they are pretty good - rate them above the last 3 emirates trips i did as the staff are approachable and friendly on etihad. it seems etihad are keen to get 'bums on seats' over the new year period - if i could get the time off i'm tempted to go for new year from manchester for 564 quid - for those interested go to www.fly.com and the dates i've looked at are 30/12 to 11/1 - note there is a long layover on the way back tho for the cheap price. doubt i'll be able to do it due work tho' - damn management!
