Another hotel recommendation is the Citin Loft Pattaya in 177/3 Moo 9 Nongprue, Pattaya Klang Soi 12. Where is this you may ask? Well it's close to everything, the narrow street is the second left if you cross the junction Central Road (Pattaya Klang) and Second Road heading north. It's a five minutes walk from there. The hotel has a pick-up service too from Tops Supermarket to the hotel and back. It usually worked fine when leaving the hotel, but I never managed to find it for the trip back.

The rooms are really great and big. I felt very comfortable there, the bed and the sofa had great quality, the shower was working fine, the aircon worked quietly and efficient without giving you a cold. The breakfast was okay too, as was the reception stuff. No problem with bringing back girls, they do check the IDs though.

The only minus is what they called a pool, much too small and above all right in front of the reception next to the exit. You could never lay down there and relax, terrible. I didn't use it at all.

The price was 1300 bt for one night and breakfast for two.

After this good experience in Pattaya I slept one night in Citin Loft Pratunam in Bangkok. It was a disaster. A hotel completely hidden, in very small Chinatown streets, the taxi driver refused to go on looking for it and kicked me out in the middle of Chinatown, I went on with a local tuk tuk driver who found the hotel in a dead end street. And the stuff was not helpful at all. They said they had a tuk tuk to take guests to the big street, but when I needed it (with my luggage), it was not available so I had to walk about 1 kilometer with my complete travel luggage to catch a taxi to the airport. And the rooms were crappy too, much too small. Strange they name both hotels Citin Loft.
