Personally I think it is a scam but not against the purported victim but against the Farang husband , it is just another way to get the money topped up, you will find that the scammers would be family. What ATM allows you to withdraw that amount of cash?

 

Also an industrial chemist I know tells me there is nothing you can rub onto your skin to make you pass out like that, ( maybe Mr Unix could help here ) .

 

Yes sadly I think this is a new scam being tried on Farangs, same happened to my mates Thai wife she went back home stopped in Bangkok ( fuck knows what for no family there) and she reckons she was drugged yeah, yeah, yeah, baht taken out of account and jewellery missing.
