This week I discovered a great little hideaway on Third Road right next to the Traffic Lights opposite the Village ( where the Village Chippy is )

I've eaten there 3 times this week - very nice surprise.

The place is German ( I think ) they have 3 Specials on Sunday & Monday - 3 New Specials on Tuesday & Wednesday - and 3 More on Thursday and Friday.

I had a big pork schnitzel, potatoes and veg...Plus a Free Salad. Very good for the price.

Another day I had 3 pork medallions and mash....Plus Free Salad. Perfect,,,,Soft and easy to cut.

And on Friday I had Fish and Chips,,,,Not as good as the Village but a nice size soft juicy non-smelling fish with chips and a Free Salad. Tea -coffee and soft drinks 30 baht

So if you fancy a nice change , check this place out,,,

You can sit outside and watch people trying to get killed using the new Traffic Lights,,,,The Cars just won't stop - THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT A RED LIGHT MEANS.

Or you can sit inside in Air-con.

Yes pity its closed down as used to be good value with great quality daily specials for 99bt with nice salad to start with thrown in to.

Overall a nice bar with quality rooms above too and downstairs plenty space at the bar and pool table too but was on busy 3rd rd so lots traffic at high speed so spose most people woulkdnt see it as passing by.

Was great as was at end of the soi 20 wher i was staying for while last yr.

Well the cook from the Lincoln (at least that's what she told me) now has a little place on Soi Chaiyaboom. I'll update shortly. It's about halfway down on the south side. The menu is super similar, including the weird salad.

Had the pork chop today--same same before at the Lincoln. The food here tastes better to me than the stuff at Seaside at a similar price.

Hi mate can you please tell me the name of this restaurant in Chayapoon???

I'm often in this soi because a girlfriend of a good friend work at the Eurasia on

the left side in the middle of the soi when you came from soi Buakhow.

Opposite is a French Restaurant with really good food.also they deliver in the

Chayapoon as well.Cheers

It's called Peacefulness, and it's almost opposite Eurasia--just a bit up towards Third Road.

Here it is:

Yes, I ate there by chance on Thursday and as I ate - my brain told me this was very similar to THE LINCOLN. - Very Nice indeed - I will be going back.

They haven't been open long - Inside it`s very bleak and empty - But the food is worth it.

Nice one and thanks for reporting that the Lincoln type food is back out there as really enjoyed it before!!

Liked the little salad starterfor free and the mains were excellent value when was 99bt each so not much more to pay then and dont mind as the food was excellent value and tasty.

So some good competition in farang foods down there now.

Unfortunately, Peacefulness appears to have died rather quickly. :(

Ah pity as really liked most items on the menu there and good cook too.

Maybe too many cafes/restaurants on that soi now??

I think the lady who ran it just didn't have much idea of what she was getting into.

Posted

The lady told me that she was closed temporarily due to the kitchen getting flooded during the recent rains. Hopefully, she'll get it sorted.

Posted

Good news! I hope she gets things running again--I certainly tried my best to support her.
