I'm looking for a hotel that is nice. Just a nice hotel. OK, I'm not explaining it well. I don't need to drink in my hotel, or play pool, or meet girls. I don't need to party in my hotel, and I don't want my neighbors partying.

I will be bringing girls back and sleeping with them. But I also want to actually sleep, so I'm looking for some peace and quiet. Yet, not so far from the action that it's totally inconvenient.

And clean. Did I mention clean? I'm basically looking for a hotel that would be a "nice hotel" for a stay in Denver on a business trip. Except without joiner fees.

My top budget is US $50/nt, but I'd rather the $20-$30 range if that's possible.

Any ideas?

Here's a few, (& I assume you are referring to Pattaya) Areca Lodge, Sandyspring,Sabai Empress, Summerspring.

You haven't given any dates so be aware that hotels arew more expensive during high season.

Pretty dam hard to get a quiet place here in Pattaya, there is always a grinder or kango hammer going some where or a bar girl knocking on some ones door at 4 am, good luck :GrinNod1:

So a Grant is basically 1500 bhat. You've got a few options and can probably check out Latestays.com (four star) in addition to these.

http://www.theresidencegarden.com/room_rates.php (discounts by mentioning one of the boards--pattayatalk/FLB Bar discount)

http://www.arecalodge.com/rate.php (evergreen wing is newer/nicer)

http://www.timboutiquehotel.com/roomtype.php (typically cheaper on latestays)

http://www.resort-pattaya.net/pattaya-resort-room-rates.html (using PA discount)

http://www.lkpattaya.com/ (only a couple of the LK places fit into your baseline rate and convenient to the fun)

More of a bargain rate and holiday inn express/Clarion experience (and may or may not offer a bar).

http://www.hotelpasadenalodge.com/ (check reviews)

http://www.eastinypattaya.com/ (price is right but may not be as quiet -- don't remember which Eastiny is the newest.)

Guest houses are not unlike bargain B&B.

There were other good choices mentioned. Another alternative might be a condo.
