Taxi from BKK to Pattaya

Arriving at Bangkok airport approx 10ish am, 6th of Nov. Are there any problems with just queuing for a taxi, eg is there much of a wait or are there loads of Taxis about?.

just get through the airport,dont use the people inside,they rip you off

go to taxi rank,a lady be sitting at a table,she ask you were you want to go,how much ,price

then if you ok it

she write destination in thai for taxi man ,and you jump in the taxi,take 5 mins max

you can take the bus,or a minibus,9 seater

should be about 1000 baht to patts,each way,in a taxi,door to door

may stop half way there,hour drive,get a drink,use toilet,then another hour drive

2 hours from swampy airport to patts

can tip the driver ,if not drive like a nutcase

just search on this forum for bell bus service 200 or 300 baht drop you off at your hotel and you ae there about the right time.

you forgot to say the public taxis are now down 1 floor from arrivals.

 

turn right out the door go to the nearest down esculator and the taxis are there.

 

its about an hour 30 now with the new motorway and thats from Bangkok.

just e-mail Mr T taxi [email protected] with your arrival and flight details and he will get back in touch with you within 24 hours one of is drivers will be waiting for you after u get through customs they usually wait at gate 3

 

charges 1000฿ about £22 u will be in Pattaya within 1 to 2 hours depending on traffic
