Just seen on the LK Hotel website, that this hotel is now up and running with a "soft opening" offer of 1500 baht for a 42m2 suite. Rooms available now.

Room looks impressive, swimming pool gets a good write up but no photos, which may be worrying, but for 1500 baht!!

Any info as to the pros and cons of the location, (opposite Tony's Gym)?

If you check the booking option (chose dates), you get in a page where you can get picture(click on preview pictures brings you to this page)

Is that what you were looking for ?

Very nice, but seems a bit of a walk to the action...

"swimming pool gets a good write up but no photos"

Lots of photos of a nice room but not of the pool.

Dont know that area very well and maps can be deceptive, it looks a short walk to the back of WS, is it not?

But looks like it would be a bugger to get back to from Lk Metro or Soi Yodsak, is it?

Ow... didn't read well. you were talking about the pool's pic.

Might be still full of sand or dust...

Location seems about 800m from WS (mesured on google earth). I would say 10 minutes sweating walk :-)

Not so bad, but are there any direct bahtbus going there ? If not, would be a bit hard to bring a short time there from a gogo (or get a taxi)

Thought as much, LK Royal suites for me then.

Cheers,

Just booked it for 4 nights on my january trip, having had previous good experiences with other Lkgroups hotels i have a feeling that this will be nice as well.

I usually limit myself to about 1250 a night in Pattaya, but this deal seemed too good to pass up, I'll do things with a little more style as this is a short stay, only 4 days.

I'll be there from Nov 17 to 20 - See if I can't get some more snaps to add to this thread.

Getting around wont be a problem as I'll be renting a motorcycle, but even then it isn't that far from the action, and if I decide to drink I'm not scared of a walk.

OK, I just checked in today

Information

Yes there is construction going on, but not so much that it annoys me. In my room I can't hear a thing - at the pool you will gear some drilling, grinding etc, but once again it isn't that bad.

The internet is only available in the lobby at this stage, no matter, I have internet on my phone I can hook up to the netbook.

The place is nicely built and furbished (to thai standards) there are still a few rough edges, the odd cracked tile, windows that need cleaning, but really, compared to what I usually get for 1100-1300 baht, this is an awesome 1500 bt investment.

The fitness room is open, but sparsely equipped at the moment - two treadmills, two elipticals and a cycling machine or two, plus a dumbell rack - still a lot of space to fill so I suppose more to come.

The pool is nice - not dusty at all, however if you like to tan it does spend a lot of the day in the shadow of the hotel.

I've attached some pics, very low resolution as I am limited to a 2G internet connection, but it gives a good idea of the standard.

This info is great. We're going in January and I wondered if it would be as good as advertised. :001_Thank_You5:

What sort of advice??

Price? Same price as for everywhere else in Pattaya, 1200 bt for a meter cab airport to Patts.

Which cab? Just grab a meter cab or book with one of the taxi companies like Mr. T or others reviewed on this forum

Looks nice.

Thanks for all the pics & info.

The location is not for me but Tonys Gym on third road is not far away from walking street.

LK hotels are always of a good standard IMO.

...actually its not my location as well, normally I had always stayed at the renaissance but I dont want to pay 5000 bht a night for a 1 bedroom suite, only because it is high season! I have booked the Hotel for 4 nights beginning 26th dec for 1800 bht a night...so if I not like it I can still change

Posted

the suite looks really nice and 800m from WS is nothing...i think i will book it...but still wait for answer from new hotel page10 in patty...if they are a little bit cheaper, than i take them...

This place looks good and will probably grab a room for a couple nights for the new year, they were a bit quiet about the cost of a joiners fee when I contacted them. Any ideas on price for those closer to the ground than me?

Nice info, but what about joiner fee in LK Miracle Suites ?
