I have been trying to make reservations at the LK Renaissance, but I have not been able to read replies from the hotel. They have sent me several replies to my messages, but they have all been blank. At first I thought it was them being careless, but now I think that it is a technical problem. I have stayed at the LK Ren six times previously and have always booked via email as I get a better rate from the manager.

 

I have never had a problem with them before and I am not sure what to make of this. I do not know if I have a reservation or not for when I arrive in a couple of weeks. I know that the LK is a very popular hotel with fellow BMs. Has anyone else experienced this type of issue?

I finally broke down and just called Tong at the LK and straightened it out with him. He confirmed that he is having a problem with his email and that I had a room reserved.

 

I appreciate your offer to help. BMs willing to help each other out is one of the great things about the board.

You can email the front office at "[email protected]" (but they may not be able to respond until they get their issues fixed). The manager Tong is a top guy.

Tong's email seems to be working fine now. I recieved an email from him today for my November booking.
