I copied and pasted into the Google Translator...came up with ROLLING LAUGH. So I think its the Thai version of "LOL".

yeah same here, i just didn't know what rolling laugh made sense or not. the email was not great news (she has problems in her family) so i didn't think that "lol" would be appropriate to include

Roughly translates to "roll about laughing" or in our language ROFL

If you get a bit of that coming your way and you are using Firefox, get the "Im Translator" add on, once you have that, just highlight the Thai text and right click and select Im Translator, it's not 100% accurate but not a bad place to start. It uses the Google translator.

 

By the way it came up with Rolling Laugh as another poster stated.
