Greetings to all.

 

I've been inactive for a long time and haven't been to Thailand since November of '08. But finally, the dry spell is over and the lizard will be let loose to roam free :-) I will be leaving for Thailand on December 8. Alas, I will only have about 8 days, but that is way better than nothing.

 

Anyway, I decided to use these two months to seriously prepare for the trip. Meaning physically. I want to shed those extra pounds and arrive as a svelte love machine.

 

To wit, I started today on the hCG diet. That is human choriogonadotropin. It is a hormone released by females during pregnancy and it causes the body to preferentially burn fat. You inject yourself daily with it (you can also take it by mouth but I heard the injectable is more effective) You should stay on the diet a minimum of 3 weeks maximum of 6. It is not easy. You have to stay on extremely low cal diet. 500 calories per day if you are inactive. If you exercise a lot you can do 1000-1200. I know a number of people who have tried the diet with extraordinary results. Hunger was not a serious problem. Mild lack of energy was avoided with vitamin B-12 injections.

 

I'm 42 and not obese. But I do need to lose about 30 pounds to look trim and athletic. Which is what I want when I get to Pattaya. I'll be on the 1200 calorie diet since I do calisthenics everyday and recently started a kettle-bell routine. I lift weights frequently but I'm cutting back to do those other exercises.

 

If anyone has any experience with this diet or any other I'd love to hear your advice.

 

Also, if anyone has any suggestions for enhancing libido, volumizing orgasms, etc, I'd love to here it. Cabergoline, testosterone injections, etc.

Forget about diets. Just lift heavy weight.

Thanks for the advice (and the complement, though I'm not sure I've earned it :-) )

 

Actually I just stopped lifting about two weeks ago. I've lifted it off and on for years, and I think I'm stronger than average but not sure it helped me with libido. Anyway, gave it two weeks ago to concentrate on kettle bell workouts for cardio and muscle tone. And I also do daily intermittent calisthenics. Basically, I do pushups throughout the day in sets of 25-30. End up doing 250-300 per day about 5 days a week. Along with ab exercises done the same way. It wont build mass like benching but I have decent sized pecs already and I figure it will help with weight loss and definition. Which is what I really need.

 

On a separate note, can anyone recommend a testosterone regimen for libido enhancement? I know there is a lot on that topic on the board, but any summarized advice on specific drugs and dosages, along with supplements to minimize side effects would be greatly appreciated.

I'm no doctor but irrelevant of what you inject into yourself, 500-1200 calories a day will do you no good and no libido enhancer is going to help that

As soon as you arrive go to a clinic and get an IM shot of Schering Testoviron (250mg).

 

That will see you through your 8 days nicely.

 

Should cost no more than 400 baht.

Thanks for the advice. So far the diet is effective, though I've given up on that 500 cal per day thing. Eating plenty, most of it healthy (but not everything.) I exercise pretty vigorously with kettlebells. Best exercise I ever tried. Along with lifting and calisthenics. And I think the HCG is helping, even though I'm not dieting as recommended for it. The upcoming trip is definitely motivational.

 

On a separate note, I've been reading a lot about clomiphene. Since it allegedly increases natural testosterone levels, I'm wondering if it can work as a sort of "poor man's steroids" and give you better gains at the gym. If anyone has had experience with that, I'd love to hear about it.

I have an acquaintance that sells this diet. It is a scam. The hCG quantity is so small as to be useless. Oral hCG is completely useless because it is a peptide hormone, and will be digested. Why it it works is the caloric restriction. 500, or 1000 cals a day, and anyone will lose weight - especially if they couple it with exercise.

 

All of these topics have been discussedon this board. Use search functions to track them down.

 

If I want to lose weight quickly I go Atkins. NO CARBS. It is easier than caloric restriction for me, and works well for dropping 5 or 10 lbs in 4 to 6 weeks. I work with a guy that dropped over 100 lbs on the diet.

I've wondered that myself. I gave it a go because I know personally 3 people who lost 30-50 pounds on it and they swear by it. One of them a compounding pharmacist. He claims HCG will cause the body to preferentially burn fat rather than muscle.

 

But it's a moot point since after two days I couldn't even tolerate a 1100 calorie diet and just started eating normal, reasonably healthy food in human amounts. Lost about 9 pounds since the start of this thread. Atkins worked great the first time I tried it. after that, it didn't seem to have much effect. At least not for me.

 

I've searched the board quite a bit. Lots of great info. Still curious, though, if clomiphene by itself will give you any roid-like boost at the gym.

roidfreak can answer for sure.

 

Clomiphene is used as an anti-estrogen to offset the estrogen generated by the metabolism of high doses of test. You get 'bitch tits', and clom will stop that.

 

By itself, I think clom has only very mild anabolic effects. As a side note porn stars use it to increase ejaculate volume.

 

If all you want is mild to moderate effects with few side effects - 1.5 to 2 u a day of hGH will do the trick.

I can comment on this topic from personal experience.

 

I followed the HCG diet and did the injections to the letter. In 30 days I lost 25lbs of scale weight. The bodyfat tests, however, showed that the HCG did nothing to protect lean muscle. Over 50% of my weight loss came from muscle/ water. I was smaller but my my bodyfat percentage barely changed at all.

 

The HCG diet is nothing more than a starvation diet and the HCG will not protect lean tissue at all.

 

And, futhermore, Atkins sucks too. Great for losing weight, also great for losing muscle tissue.

 

If you really want to get leaner, rather than just wanting to lose weight, then you have to eat a diet that protects your muscle. 1000 calories diets suck! I don't care what anyone says, you will lose muscle and you will feel lousy doing it.

 

A much better approach is to eat enough to support your muscle and then to create a calorie deficit with exercise, - that means weight training and cardio work. There is no other way to create a hard lean body, control the calories and do the work.

Aum, thanks for weighing in in this (no pun intended). I think you're right about the diet. I simply couldn't tolerate even 1100 calories. So now I'm trying what you're suggesting. 2500 cal per day and exercise. It actually works when I stick to it. It works even better when I avoid high carb foods like bread pasta and sweats.

 

Still taking the hcg injections though because, well, what the #%*€. I actually tried hgh in the past. Real expensive. The effect wasn't dramatic but it did help me break through a plateu at the gym.

    • For those that don't know, I did Friday meetings before many years ago,  I feel like we are missing a regular meeting for members,  I am aware guys meet at PA affiliated bars. But I want to start meeting people again, I'm inviting the guys following my YouTube also.

      The meetings is a chance to get to meet each other,  I plan to be at every meeting, I also have Dean from Dive bar that has offered to help out with a crawl after.
      The meetings will be  Monday  6 pm - 8 pm each week.  (The improvised bar crawl will commence at 8 p.m.  Dean will make his own plans for that.)

      Due to low numbers of people in town, I will start the meetings in our bars to help our girls and managers, please check back often incase things are changed.  I will be sharing the love around town later, but Soi 6 is first on my list (including bars that are friendly competition)   
      If bar owners want us to have a meeting at their bar,  they need to have a minimum of 10 girls.  I'm not dragging people to empty bars for favours.
      Please help us invite other members, it takes a while to get momentum.
