The Pride - condominium.... ok? value?

Hi Everyone. I have a condo question. I was in at the Pride condo just behind the Avenue shopping centre, and had a look at the show suite, and thought it was pretty nice. Saw their price lists, but I realize those are full sticker price. I'm hoping there are people on the board who either live there or know the place well.... it seems pretty well constructed and well managed. Any issues with the place? What do you reckon the actual market value for a 1 bedroom unit of a similar size to the show suite is?

interested in any comments good or bad (hopefully all good though), as I'm tempted to look at it seriously.

Personally, I like the other 3 condos on Soi 15 (Urban, Avenue, City Garden). I would take a look at those before you buy.

Good Luck!

They do look nice and the location is good but the prices are WAY too high. Especially with low exchange rates. Unless you can get a big discount i would look elsewhere.

really? The city garden ones were nice but more expensive. What do you recommend? I don't want to get a shoddily constructed place just for the sake of saving 100k baht, but if there's better values out there I'm all ears. Not so into living in jomtien though...

I suppose if location is your main criteria you are going to pay more than normal. If you are willing to go out of Patts a bit you will save big money. I would recommend the Pratamnack Hill area, still very close to Walking St, 5 minutes on a Baht Bus and lots of nice condos. You are also closer to the better beaches in Jomtien and Pattaya Park etc.
