I bought a DTAC sim card back in June.

My friend refilled it in July.

I might be back in BKK in Dec so about it'll be about 4 months since the SIM card was last used.

Will my SIM card number and credit still be active?

How long does the number and credit usually last?

With 300bht my Dtac is valid for 1 month, however, you can extend this by phoning up their TOP UP service, think it is *1000, I have extended this to 6 months, think there is an option upto a year. Only costs a few baht.

The funny thing is, I have no idea what my cell phone costs. My TGF pays for it. I rarely make calls so I don't use it that much. She pays for it so she can check up on me and make sure I am being :25:

if its anything like AIS you just call them when you get back and they will turn it on again and put any credit back on it again then you just top up again.

how much i spend making calls to my family my main number is always a year in advance on line rental but then we all need to have that 2nd number for incoming calls and messages that we dont top up as much.mines run out a few times,i just call them they turn it on again and give me my credit back.

I think unless you extend the validity the number will have stopped by now,you usually only get a month after each top up ? I've done what others have said on here and extended it to a 1 year validity, did it at the DTAC shop at Carrefor and it cost about 20-30 baht.
