I plan to go to Samui for a week.

What is best plan to do it?

Bangkok flight to Samui, back with plane or boat directly to Pattaya...?

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

If you have two weeks, I suggest you to go from Bangkok to Pattaya and stay there for the first week. Then, you can take Bangkok Airways from Utapao (pattaya airport) and go to Koh samui for the second week...better if during full moon party period. Finally, you can take airplane to reach Bangkok and come back home. I will do so, in november! I can't wait for it...

Allaporta is right, but BKK Air is way expensive (unless you leave at 6 am or 11 pm). You might look at a 'Discover Asia' fare. You have to buy them at home & have to buy 3 links. Cheaper options: Air Asia BKK to Surat Thani and ferry to KS or bus or train to Hua Hin, maybe a stay over, & ferry from Chumporn to KS. It stops at KPN too. Then just use BKK Air for to or from Utapao. wj

You could also consider the bus and ferry route if you have some extra time to kill.

You take a bus from Sai Dai (Southern Bus Station) to Surat Thani. From Surat Thani you take a ferry to Koh Samui. They sell combined tickets at Sai Dai station for around 700-800baht. You can also buy it separately if you want to spend a bit of time around Surat Thani first. This is a long trip though. Overnight train and a couple hours on the ferry. It's cheap and not too bad if you can handle sleeping on a bus. The VIP bus's are fairly good quality so I found it comfortable.

Koh Samui also has an airport so you can fly to and from Bangkok with ease. Bare in mind that the prices are fucked due to BKK Air owning the airport and having a monopoly on the flight route. I fly from Koh Samui back to Bangkok last year and it cost me 3200baht from memory. The airport at Koh Samui is very beautiful though and I enjoyed the experience. It feels more like a holiday resort than an airport.

Hope that was helpful.

    • For those that don't know, I did Friday meetings before many years ago,  I feel like we are missing a regular meeting for members,  I am aware guys meet at PA affiliated bars. But I want to start meeting people again, I'm inviting the guys following my YouTube also.

The meetings is a chance to get to meet each other,  I plan to be at every meeting, I also have Dean from Dive bar that has offered to help out with a crawl after.
The meetings will be  Monday  6 pm - 8 pm each week.  (The improvised bar crawl will commence at 8 p.m.  Dean will make his own plans for that.)

Due to low numbers of people in town, I will start the meetings in our bars to help our girls and managers, please check back often incase things are changed.  I will be sharing the love around town later, but Soi 6 is first on my list (including bars that are friendly competition)
If bar owners want us to have a meeting at their bar,  they need to have a minimum of 10 girls.  I'm not dragging people to empty bars for favours.
Please help us invite other members, it takes a while to get momentum.
Monday 6 pm - 8pm  (then bar crawl after)

2nd May - (next bar we have open)
      9th May - Cooters bar soi 6
16th May - Hot shots bar Soi 6

      30th of May - Lust soi 6

I look forward to meeting people again.
