Yes this can be done, I've never done it before leaving but I imagine the Thai desk at the airport would set you straight.

I have done it with Thai Airways here in Pattaya before, they have an office here. I was changing 2 tickets and they wanted to charge me 110 GBP per ticket, which I was going to pay by credit card, luckily their machines were down and they could not take payment. I asked for confirmation of the change which they gave me and said I should pay at the Thai office at the airport. No problems with any of this and to my surprise when I went to pay at the airport the cost of the change was only 75 GBP per ticket.

Since then I have met many people who change their return date and I believe doing it here for a flight with Thai is 75 GBP dependent on availability. If you do change your return here I would use any travel agancy reccommended to you and not the Thai Airways office.

Why don't you call Thai Airways and ask them while you are still at home? I did same last year without costing me anything. I am sure they can change it for you. And, as it's a low season, there may not be any charges. It also depends upon the type/plan of your ticket. Better ask now instead of leaving it till later.

Hi,l Just noticed the post you made about looking for a room from Monday. I have rooms available 450 - 650 THB. Would love to have you stay.
