Paradiso Suites (Review)

Sam-the-one

Recommended Posts

Stayed there for a day (2nd Sep 2010) in Luxury Suites. The room was really beautiful, clean, well maintained hotel with all in room amenities and great staff (Rooms are little small). Well kept mini bar, great bathroom and well lit room. More over no joiner fee. hotel is situated in a great location close to Nana plaza and Asok MRT. The internet speed was really good.

Only drawback was the lift was available only till 6th Floor and our room was located on the 7th, wasn't a big issue though. And the restaurant is in the lobby of the hotel, which is really small.

Aspen Suites & Solo 2 are new & close by, just walk through the parking lot past Annies. 15-1800 baht & great reviews. Paradiso is on 10 & Suk. 5-10 min walk for you. Your BG in heals will need a cab. wj

I stayed 2-3 days in 2009. A few issues with this hotel.

- Very small standard/superior rooms.

- Rooms have low ceiling. 2nd floor has extra low ceiling.

- 6th floor room floor not level. I felt disoriented.

- High floor has purple or pink windows. During the day time, your room is pink/purple lighted.

Location is 5 star but I felt nausea when I walk unlevel floor in pink/purple lighted room. :(

Staff was friendly. They let me checkout early when I complained about floor level.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Not much to add, I just confirm what has been said : great location next to Chuvit Garden (right between Nana and Asoke), new hotel, clean, friendly and helpful staff, no joiner fee (although some reported that they paid 500 bahts). The restaurant is not really a restaurant, it's composed of 3-4 tables in the lobby. My room was pretty small, but the bathroom is great (I simply love rain showers!).

By the way, Google Maps shows a wrong location for this hotel. It is not that far down the soi. It is only 30 meters from Sukhumvit Street.

If you come from the Airport, the cheapest and easiest way to reach this hotel is to take the Airport Link until Phaya Thai, from where you can take the BTS until Nana (5 stops later, in the On Nut direction).

If the Airport Link stops at Makkasan (direct line stops there), you can take a taxi, it won't cost you a lot.

I booked through Agoda and paid 1750 bahts per night.

I recommend this hotel

(for my personal taste and short term stay, I would prefer Majestic Suites, closer to Nana and a bit cheaper).

My LT lady (picked up at Angelwitch at 1.30am) also loved the desk, since she spent almost one hour sitting there, eating a salad and a grilled fish...

and probably waiting for me to fall asleep...

Here are some pictures of the room.
