Recommended Posts

Cutting for an upcoming comp (bjj) ive got hours of cardio coming up that i want to try and learn some thai language in..

Has anyone got, or know where i can get some learn thai mp3's so i can spend my cardio time more wisely?

I had a go at google and got side tracked with thai porn(no complaints here) and lots of dead linked torrents.

cheers, gary.

You can download a few from i-tunes but at a cost, "40 minute thai" is the cheapest I think and not a bad start. i-tunes also has lots of small but free podcasts available you can download, enough to get you started if you're just after common phrases.

If you're more serious and have ample time, pimsleur thai can be found on torrents, about 15 hours worth of lessons.

Unless you're already fluent in Lao, you'll probably need to hear each pimsleur lesson quite a few times - the pimsleur stuff is a lot of material in that sense :) I found pimsleur hard in the beginning and used Becker's Thai for Beginners which is about $20 with the CDs. But, you can download pimsleur first and see how much you understand from the first few lessons?? Good luck with thai and the competition !
