Be careful if you are booking a minibus

 

I have just heard that yesterday one group of golfers in a hired minibus on there way to Plutaluang had their minibus stopped and seized by the police just outside Pattaya (the golfers had to arrange alternative transport to get to the course)

The driver it appears did not have the correct documents to use it commercially.

 

Checking is not easy as the owners probably speak little English and any documents they provide will undoubtably be written in Thai.

Most of the "limousines" we call taxis do not have proper documents. I look for the tires and if the driver can keep the eyes open, that's all it needs
