Football Shirts Do's and Dont's

Been around in Pattaya for a while and traded a few shirts online so thought I would let others BM's know the score

Here I am talking about Grade A shirts that have all logos tags etc, they have all the major club and International teams available

The price for a shirt with no name and number is 300bt, even volume buyers like me only get about 10bt off that. I have seen people in Mikes Mall pay over 1000 bt for these shirts as to them it is still a bargain as they are direct copies

For a shirt with a name and number the best price is 450bt, again i have seen some crazy prices being paid but thats the joy of holiday making

now where to buy, some people have their favourites around town. Having tried nearly everywhere in town I would recommend Mikes Mall especially the sellers at the Beach Road end as they nearly always have stock and are most agreeable to the pricing. Some people swear by Tony on second road, my opinion of that robbing B@#$%^#D should not go on public display

so there are the basics, there is plenty to be made on these for lads that want to. An example right now is the Germany Away (Black) Shirt is fairly much out of stock in Germany so you can get 70 euros a shirt---not bad for 300bt---and the customers love them

more than happy to help out anyone who wants further info

I'll agree with what you're saying about where to buy,I was paying 280bt a shirt at a stall on Beach Road, one of the stalls at the back, sending them back to the UK and selling them on ebay, they are the same as were in my local sports shops in the UK even down to the Made in Thailand imprint, you really couldn't tell the difference. The Rugby shirts are good as well.

I would just add that the shirts I sold on ebay were addidas,Nike and most of the others,if you try to sell Umbro shirts you will get problems as Umbro do/did police ebay.

The one issue is you have to stick to big name teams or countries. If you support a team that isn't huge internationally then it can be difficult to find a shirt. I spent several days looking for a Everton shirt until I found one and then it was only in a medium. I found it with a seller off Beach Rd. It just takes time and patience.

The one thing I do find ironic is that there are no Thailand National Team jersey's around. I like to buy a national team shirt from every country I been to and its usually not that hard. In Latin America you can't walk 1 meter without someone selling one, but in Asia you just can't find them.

When I'm single I like playing the field. You call it picking up hookers. - Jim Norton

yes , re selling on ebay Uk, Nike and Umbro are fairly much a no go

However you can sell those shirts on the likes of ebay.de which is massive and there is as much if not more demand for the shirts there

The Man Utd shirts go for about 45 euro so plenty of margin
