Police arrested Kratuey (Ladyboy) gang picked pocket of tourists. Kratuey confessed to use money for entertaining and buying Yah Bah (amphetamine)

On the 20th June 2007, at 05.30 PM, Pol.Maj.Chaigrit Thong-In, Investigator, Pattaya, was notified that there is a tourist was picked pocket at traffic light intersection in front of Top’s Supermarket, Pattaya 2nd road, Moo 9, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi, then rushed to investigate.

 

At the incident, a traffic police was controlling a ladyboy, Mr. Arkom Cho-tang, or “Em” (16), living at 188/1, Moo 12, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi. Police searched his body but could not find any evidence because he gave the money to another guy in the same gang who escaped. There was a sufferer, Mr. Peter Attwood, (75), English citizen identified the criminal to the police.

 

Mr. Attwood told that he was on his way from Royal Garden Plaza to go to Dolphin roundabout and he was picked pocket by Mr.Arkom. He had 900 pound sterling in his envelope which is equivalent about 61,200 Baht

 

Police had extended the case and also arrested another ladyboy criminal from the same gang. He was Mr. Chutiman Deeying or “Por” (21). He was on the way back to his resident on Soi 7, Thepprasit. Police searched his body and found 425 Pounds or around 42,500 Baht in his pocket. “Por” confessed that he is in the same gang with “Em”. He has been going around picking pocket many times to get the money to buy Yah Bah and going to entertainments places. Police will proceed the case to arrest the criminal who escaped as soon as possible.
