Marks and Sparks includes motorbike cover (providing you have an appropriate license) + wasn't horrifically expensive. IIRC about £100 per year. Never had to claim though but I suspect they'd be OK. Helpline is prompt and efficient.

try moneysupermarket.com they give you ascending list of annual insurance starts at bout 30 pound for basic upwards depending on what you need...try getting your KN*B insured for your feb 2011 trip.. not many punters around you got plenty girls to keep happy..have a good one

Direct travel, had to make two claims and they were hassle free and comparing like for like they are very good if you op for the premium service but that's 'up 2 you'. My mate claimed because of volcanic ash and they paid out no problem.

insurance costs and coverage differ on personal needs , do you just want health and travel or do you want baggage as well ,

i stay 3 months and i use the german equivelent of AA its called ADAC ,

if you already have any isurance policies it is advisable talking to them first and see if they also do travel , what you will also have to check out if they do is if Asia is covered at a reasonable price

also what you have to keep in mind beside is what it covers is also HOW you are covered , if you get sick do you have to fork out the money first and then claim on return to your country .

a company that i can recommend is worldnomads

got my hotel room broken into in march lost a load of stuff , sent a thai police report , receipts of some of the things that got stole pictures of some things i did´nt have receipts for and they have just sent me a check for 1500 euros :Party4::Beer1::08::001_Thank_You5::Party5: pays for my next holiday :Flying: ,but that was only because i checked the policy wording , if there were NO signs of forced entry like scratches on the lock :GrinNod1: or the room wasn´t messed up :GrinNod1: then i wouldnt have got anything , also because i got the premium policy i was covered for 10% of stolen cash , and as 2000 euro was stolen :GrinNod1: thats an automatic 200 euro :Party3:

also if you get mugged and there are no witnesses then they will NOT pay as there is no proof . :ThumbDown1:

.

you may be better off getting 2 seperate ploicies instead of 1 long one .

"And were you pleased?" they asked Helen in Hell.

"Pleased?" answered she,when all Troy's towers fell;

And dead were Priam´s sons, and lost his throne?

And such a war was fought as none had known;

And even the Gods took part; and all because

Of me alone! Pleased?

I should say I was!"

I have used Atlas direct for last few trips, pretty cheap and paid my £60 low key medical costs in feb. Paid upfront and recovered when returned home - took about 4 to 6 weeks to process the claim but no real fuss. Did read on an insurance comparison site that they had very low customer satisfaction rating but they worked for me.

Also a tip if your travelling with kids Virgin Money Insurance cover the child free on the adult premium - just used them on a family holiday in Turkey. The "child free bit" made them very competetive on the premium.
