Korat is easier.Why? Because it's closer. Take a bus, very simple. Ubon, much further, but still easy by bus, train or plane.

Spot on. Would have given the very same answer. BTW i have never been to Udon, but did have a night in Korat a few years ago, and there are a good nightlife and some fun to be had
