Eight Inn, Soi 8 - Anyone stay there?

I managed to mess up big style asking about this budget hotel on Agoda previously. Anyway, has anyone actually stayed here and offer any opinions as being a good budget option - its right next door to Nana BTS and has OK reviews on Agoda. Appreciate any feedback on the place - i do have other options on standby if its no good.

Doesn't look horrible Nick. Book 1 night and bail if it sucks. If I were you, I'd spend a little more and do WOTIF's 1000 baht 'mystery hotel'. It's Solo2 on Soi 2. Check the rave reviews. The rate goes away in Nov though. City Lodge on 9 is coming in around $30 too. wj

I have not stayed. There is a review of the place on Bangkok Addicts - with some photos. It's a basic hotel - but new. There is hardwired internet access, but no in room safe.

Cheers IBF. I've decided to play it safe and booked my backup option instead which isn't much more dosh tbh.
