just wondering if this place is still open for business. just typed out an email on their site about room vacancies and wouldn't send, some time out message appears. hit the contact us link and got the same blank boxes but no separate email address. is the owner a BM or any other way anyone can think of the go about it? cheers(place looks nice from the website photos)

Anyway, he has now booked elsewhere. Their loss.

I stayed there a couple of years back when Gabriel was the owner. It was a nice, friendly, clean and reasonably cheap. Haven't been back since he sold up but I notice on their website the new owner has put it up for sale again.

 

I'll message a mate of mine who is on the ground and see if he has any info.

So WHAT? Nothing to do with the OP, I've stayed there many times in the past 5 years under 4 different owners, Bill/Jeff/Gabriel and Ron and the ambience and price etc is still top class! Plus as a bonus I've never had to paddle through a swamp home after a downpour! :Whistle:

you are right of course Davo, most of the guesthouses in Soi LK Metrol have had a number of owners over the past 4/5 years. We dont charge any extra for all these little extras such as free street swimming pool when it is pissing down.

It was actually meant as a line drop as for anyone interested in maybe buying it but I see I upset a couple of guys.

Interesting patterns emerge from the traps though.

Hi Frankstan,

sorry for the trouble you have had, will get onto the server. No problems for the rooms you require, can fit you in, have 3 size rooms, small, medium and large. I think medium is more than adequate, as they are very large rooms by normal measures. small 450 night (usually 550), medium 500 (usually 600) special discount for addict memeber. also get a discount card for 10% oiff for food and drinks for guests. Let me know if this is ok and wil book for you. regards, ron

thanks Pepe, have had a long history of back pain, 3 previous ops, not looking forward to another but little choice. If you do hear of anyone interested, even allowing for how difficult things are at the moment, it is going better than most. If you do intro anyone and it goes through, am happy to make it worth your while. regards, ron

brilliant news Ron. book me 1 small room and 1 medium or large(must have sofa and balcony if that combo is possible). check in on the 14th check out 22nd oct. i get to los on the 2nd but will be travelling about so might be a day late but will re-imburse you for missed date, is this ok? do you need a deposit or anything? cheers

They are open for business as usual. See previous posts on this thread. Appears their website is not working but you can book through Ron (BM Mogo5) see posts above
