Are you going to pay for half the fuel? or 2/3? Just want to make sure we have it all sorted before we meet up on Tuesday. Do you have any space in your bags? How many bags will you be taking. There is probably loads of room, but the last guy I offered a lift to turned up with a parrot that kept swearing at me and singing jesus songs all the way. Drove me bloody nuts and he went mental when I set him free whilst he was on the toilet break, some people are so ungrateful, I was doing him a favour.

Sounds like you got your hands on a nutcase for sure. We are easy going guys that will certainly NOT sing your religious melodies along the journey. We would like to pay for half of fuel, is that agreeable? We are backpackers, as such we each have a single 55 L bag, and were staying at a flat here in London so were not the smelly out on the road backpackers... well at least not right now. What time would you like to meet? Roughly how long do you anticipate the drive taking (its not really important im just curious). We can meet any time.

Estimated costs

 

592.87 km drive, equals 368 miles

My vehicle does 4 MPG (Hummer H6) so thats

 

385 GBP divided by two, is only 192 pounds each. But I wont charge

for the extra luggage weight.

 

The drive should take around 7 hours, but I have a fridge full of

beers, so we can all have a good drinking session on the way.

 

Whats your address and I will see if its easy to pick you up?

I like to travel by bus or train. I am happy to spend 2-3 days in Aberystwyth.

 

I was thinking of popping to Talgarth for a spot of dogging. We can spend a few hours getting teared up and head to the next dogging site.

 

I have been to the South west, but I'd rather not go back down that way for 5 years until the dust settles. I am from Worcester initially, but I am familiar with most areas of the UK, as I like to keep on the move.

 

I agree Scotland is a bit depressing and the rain dampens the "scene"
