The only noise is from a few bars at the back and it certainly never bothered me. Poolside is very quiet at night and the hotel itself is set far back from the main road. The rooms are small but comfortable and it's very guest friendly. I've stayed there many times, last time at New Year, and will continue to do so.

Someone has posted on tripadviser that the Patong Beach Lodge charge 1000BHT for guest

so Id email em to be sure, That being said I'd confirm with any hotel you tend to stay in

and keep it handy if theres a problem

i have stayed there twice last time in june and guests were free, however the first time i stayed back in 06 there was 9 of us and my first trip so we went 2 to a room and a guest was 500baht, im guessing thats what the tripadvisor might be
