hi all,

im planning on taking my thai gf back to england in january 2011. im currently working in sydney so all my bank details are from oz. i dont own a property in england so therefore i cant actually show proof of accomodation in the uk...

does anyone know if its ok to show funds in an account thats not from the country of the visa application?

also the property situation!can i use my parents home as a way of proving we have somewhere to stay when we go back?

any advise would be greatly appreciated

cheers darryl

I would suggest getting an invation from your parents for the stay. I doubt you will have problems showing them your Australian bank details.

Your parents can invite her to stay at the family home, you are sponsoring the trip as her partner I presume ?
