I arrive at 06:30 in the morning. Is this early enough to avoid rush hour if I take a taxi to Sukhimvit? Otherwise, the airport train sounds great. I have some extra baht from a prior trip so I can just pay the fare and get on. I then plan on simply walking to my hotel after Makkasan. I will pack light. I try to avoid taxis because their driving habits scare the shit out of me.
