Jomtien BAR MAPS

Hi there , I am staying in Jomtien for the first time. Always stayed in Pattaya before, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any maps, like the Pattaya BAR MAPS for Jomtien??

Hi John, sorry don't know a Barmap for Jomtien but you can go to Soi 8 or Thap Phraja ("Agogo Nr. 1" 555 have only one in Jomtien, "Country Road, KR-Bar etc.)

I am not aware of one for Jomtien only. It is easy to check out the area while walking from the Thapraya - Beach road junction with bars on Sois 3,4, 5, 6 (3 massage places only),Soi Whitehouse,& under Jomtien Beach condos. A little further down you have Soi Watboon with the Winchester Club and a bit further Soi Welcome. Near the Jomtien complex there are many including the #1 A Go Go, Shenanigens, Country Roads and many, many others. Newer open air ones have sprung up off 2nd road Jomtien between Soi 5 - 7 also. Rent a motor scooter and scout things out all the way to the south end of Jomtien it won't take you long to get your bearings.

Thanks Gerry53. I plan on renting a scooter, as I usually do when I staying in Pattaya. Much rain there at the moment? Rainy season there yet? Cheers and thanks... johnlb

Johnlb in am back visiting in Canada right now until late September but I understand from my mates that Jomtien has had it's share of rain since I left (and it needed it). If you are out on a bike and you get caught up in a downpour you can always grab a beer, meal or massage until it subsides. Often the massage place will dry your wet clothes while you have your massage - life is good. You will have your favorite places all figured out within a few days as Jomtien is very manageable. For bigger nightlife venues, shopping, and other entertainment it is only a 15 minute trip to the hustle and bustle of Pattaya.

My first go-go experience in Thailand, I had the "no. 1 ". Then, it was like coming to heaven .... after 8 more trips to Pattaya, appears "no. 1" only with a certain degree of nostalgia for me. Pretty ladies are rather poor, but you are welcome to request music there ..
