Hua Hin - Hotel Wanted

Recommended Posts

Hello Men, I am planning on going to Hua Hin for two or three nights next month with my Thai GiG. Neither of us have been to Hau Hin before. I would greatly appreciate recommendations for hotels. We would like something modern, not to far from the nightlife or beach (if that's possible), preferably have Internet in room and a bath, but not essential. Cleanliness is a must. As this is my third trip this year I am pretty low on funds so I would like to pay as little as possible and no more than 1500 bhat/£30. But I could stretch this for a very special deal.

Is this possible as hotels seemed pretty expensive when I looked on Agoda.

Also are there any Gyms you can recommend.

After Hua Hin we will travel to Samui by bus and boat. However I have no idea how to go about this. Again any recommendations on travel will also be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hi, I have an answer to the last question :-)

Last year we went by http://www.lomprayah.com/ from Bangkok to Samui. They have a stop in Hua Hin, too. First the bus (it was a good bus, no rubbish) takes you to Chumporn an there you go onto a big Speed Ferry that will bring you to Samui. It is very well organized and high quality

Posted some ideas in your other thread.

Best not to start two 100% identical threads bro - most people use the "view new content" link so will see your threads whichever forum you pout them in.

I will close one of them and link to the other.

I have been to Hua Hin twice. Great location to relax on nice beach, visit local cultural/natural treasures, have fun in barscene around SOI Bintabaht and not forget the superb disco at the Hilton hotel. The partyscene to be in Hua Hin IMO.

Clean, cheap, central hotel is http://www.thipuraicityhotel.com/EN/index.htm A lovely hotel not too expensive GF and rooftop swimmingpool in a quiet soi, 300m of the Hilton and soi Bintabaht.

Another good one is http://www.peonyhuahinhotel.com/index.html but i have not stayed there myself!

For a lovely stretch of beach go right on Naretdamri road when coming from Thipurai hotel and left on the main road Damnern kasem towards the beach. On the beach go right until you see wooden huts with reggae music and have fun!

Sure, you can buy the Ticket for Hua Hin only :-)... the journey is about 12 hours, because there is a longer stop at the ferry in Chumphon where you have to wait from about 4AM till sunrise.

Stayed at Wannara hotel last year.

There is not a bad thing i can say about it,

From location to size of room and sevice from the staff, all was good.

Enjoyed the nightlife of Hua Hin, but had exhausted it in 5 days.

But i hear it has changed even since last year, with proposals to demolish the late bars next to the Hilton.

Going to spend some R & R time there at the beginning of November before hitting Pattaya.
