The thing I miss most about Thailand

Recommended Posts

There are of course many draws to the Land of Smiles.

The women. The food. The weather. The smiles. The reasonable cost.

However, as I spend more time back in farangland after my trips, I am starting to miss one thing more than any of these.

I can view porn. I can find Thai food. I can live in a warm place. I can smile at people and (sometimes) get a smile back. And I can be a savvy consumer.

But there is one thing that I cannot get in farangland, and it is really starting to wear me down.

You see, just about every time I turn on the television, the radio, or just talk to people in the workpace or on the street, I encounter something ugly.

People in farangland are loud. People in farangland are rude. People in farangland like to argue.

The Thailand experience is so different.

People in Thailand are polite. People in Thailand are soft-spoken. People in Thailand do not like to argue.

I prefer this style of culture soooooooo much more.

I MISS THIS TOO MUTT!!! :Insanity:

yeah but those farangs are also found in thailand aswell, and when you add loud people, beer and girls they generally get louder and make the farangs back at home seem more pleasant

  • I miss the most the scent of a Thai Ladies skin. It is more than likely their diet, but they smell delicious. Good enough to eat... :)

  • I miss my daily massages by pretty little Thai ladies at a fraction of the cost of those in Farangland.

  • I miss good, cheap Thai food.

I miss the touch of their skin and the smell of their loveley long black hair. As for England the countries gone to the dogs not just the loud mouthed wankers on a Friday night but taxation, national debt every scrounging bastard in europe jumping on whatever transportation they can to fleece the benefits agency so we can pay even more tax so they can sit round do fuck all but the occasional trip to Lidl. Shit weather, politicians fleecing us with expenses, a football team that cant play, Eastenders, Fat lazy single mothers and on and on and on and on !!!!!!!!!!! Ive got to stop as I feel a robert deniro moment coming on

5 more years and Im out of here.

I miss everything. I am so crazy that for the last few days I've been cooking hot and spicy chicken and drinking heineken because it reminds me of my 2 week adventure.

I miss the constant din that pattaya provides. The chatter, the loud music ,the girls screaming, the general madness & unpredictability. Farangland is just too dull.

I arrived back in England a couple of days ago and I'm already missing visiting Soi 6 and meeting up with Pookie for some nice st fun. Towards the end of my trip I made friends with a Thai lady who is a manager of two Soi 6 bars and she knows my thai girlfriend. So when I return to Thailand in December I have to make sure this lady doesnt see me visiting Pookie at her Soi 6 bar.....It should be interesting

I miss how everyone in Thailand seems to be so polite. 100 farang chicks on my camp hating on each other, seemed like thousands of Thai women that were so respective and sweet to me, even though im fish too.

DEfenitely the atmosphere at the beerbars. Can get a drink in my hometown but the contact with the BG is unbeatable!

A good girl gives you happiness and a bad girl gives you experience both are essential in life so enjoy every girlfriend!

...well its only a little thing, but I miss the sounds of the insects at night,(I find it a very primeval, relaxin sound), and the sounds of the frogs croakin after a rain shower....miss the fact that u rarely if ever see people arguing or stressing.

..I miss the Buddha thing...im an athiest and not at all religious, but I find it kinda cute the way the gals all seem to hold Buddha close to heart, (far more genuine than christianity).

....My God!!..You don't exist!!

Whole dam city, just so alive and always something to do. No matter what time and such, can always count on having fun but the major selling point is obviously the available girls. Think that's re main selling point to almost anyone there. Betting a lot if those guys that cone with gf or wives are just kicking themselves in the nuts every day. Had a couple of buddies who wet with their gf and confirmed was the biggest mistake of their life. One of them later rebooked a trip and went alone.
