Anyone know anything about this place?

 

They are 550 baht right now and they are getting fairly good reviews.

 

I am on a big time budget this year and if I don't watch every baht I ain't going. Hopefully things will change or maybe it will be a quick week in Costa Freaka.

Shiiiiit. I've just booked and paid in advance via a booking site for the Xmas holidays -- 11 nights. Couldn't get a room anywhere, so decided to try it. I'll post to here in January with a review. I hope it will be better than the reports that Socks has heard.

I first stopped there just over 3 years ago, and beleive me it was a dump back then, although i walked past it the other day and it is just a gutted shell ? so weather its getting renovated is anyones guess !!

Walked passed it about 1 week ago, and it looks like it has had a complete makeover and not before time !! only saw the entrance and reception area and the new restaurant looks very nice !!

Walked past today. From outside looks pretty OK, certainly a massive improvement.

I stay in the end of october of this year, i lovet it and i stay over 60 hotels in Pattaya, nice rooms, design bar , great location, a pool will be added on the parking area, only 600 bahts.

Perhaps this thread has tweaked interest in this hotel. I was surprised to find that they have changed their posted rates from 600 baht to '500 to 800 baht'.
