Recently after having put on 17Kg since I moved here to live and with some urging from a good friend, I have started on a diet and exercise program, so far in a month I have lost around 7Kg

 

I am on a High Protein Low Carb diet and after my wife said something to me along the lines of "If you want to lose kilo eat Dragon Fruit" I decided to have a look into it and what I have read around the place is astounding, it's amazing what you put in your mouth without ever knowing whether is good, bad or indifferent for you, have a look at the following, every website I have read pretty much arrive at the same conclusion.

 

Health Benefits:

 

* Dragon fruit help to lower blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes.

* Dragon fruit prevent formation of cancer causing free radicals.

* Dragon fruit helps moisturize and smoothen skin and decrease bad cholesterol level.

* Dragon fruit helps maintain the health of the eyes.

* Dragon fruit helps strengthen the bones and teeth.

So eat and enjoy, I actually use it as an ingredient in my Protein shake, yum yum

I almost never see those things any more, but they were quite common when I was working up in Chiang Mai

I know they go Thur you pretty quick. Must clean you out too. I didn't know they were that good for you. Going to start eating them more often.

Yep, that simple, very nice taste as well, at least I think so.

I am aware of the fruit but it's benefits are unknown to me but according to your instructions it's is really a very healthy fruit but i want to ask whether it is suppose to eat as it is or i need to peel it and then eat.

You don't peel it, you just cut it in half and use a small spoon to scope out the content, very much the same way you'll eat a Kiwi-fruit!

Tried it only once it was quite tasteless to my palate, I like my fruit sweet, give me a mangosteen or lychee anytime! :rolleyes:

i find that they lack taste , very bland

Is this something acidic like grapefruit? I heard of people losing loads of weight by eating lots of that but the acidity can have damaging effects if eaten too much.

 

Tips for the health are as bellow :

Isn't a glass of red good for the blood circulation?
