Shop on right with the person in the white shirt and yellow motorbike helmet in the doorway, and just ask for what you want to see, doesn't have everything on hand but can get it with-in a day or two.

Near tukcom, you walk into that shitty market there, take a left once you're inside, if you get lost ask for the watch lady (point to your wrist), you'll find zarah watches, again you'll have to ask and she'll pull a huge watch catalog out.

Both of these places have a range of quality, Zarah has a wider variety, they both guarantee their watches for a period, you can spend as little as 1300b or as much as maybe 15-20k baht if you want some of the nicer better quality ones, at Zarahs you can ask and she might have 3 levels of quality for the same watch model all at different prices. Hope that's helpful.

If you dont mind a trip to bangkok the best shop I know is there. On the opposite river bank to the Peninsula hotel they have a small dock with a departure lounge where their ferry goes to and from the hotel. About 7 or 8 shops up from there is a shop abot 12 ft wide that sells on the ground floor small gifts, 1st floor designer handbags and second floor good quality knock off watches. They had some good brietlings, rolex etc last time I was there with kinetic workings.

The watch lady is definitely the place to go for quality and a wide range of watches that are actually in stock. They also sort out any problems without a murmur. You'll likely be served by the lady's son - he is recognisable by his disfigured right eye. A number of European online dealers shop for stock there, which must be a recommendation. Pay about half the price shown on the tag, around 2000 Baht for most prestige makes. The shop is tucked away at the back-left of the food market.

Is there such an animal, bought a couple of "Good Quality" replica's in Patts a few years back, carnt was recommended to me.

I took one of them into a jewellers/watchmaker at home in Oz to get a new battery, he came out from the back after he opened it up and asked "Where did you get this rubbish, hope you didn't pay much for it, most of the movement is plastic" I was too embarrassed to tell him what I actually paid for them.

So I repeat myself, Is There Such an Animal

I got a watch from the one at the top of soi bukhao-3 or 4 shops fromthe end ,on the right hand side.It came with a years guarantee-I ve never had anything but trouble with it-ive taken it back 5 or 6 times now...leaving it overnight on occassions-still fuckin' useless,Ive wasted so much time and energy in that shop-it cost me 2k baht. The owner himself, very nice man, very personable, but he keeps telling me it ok now-it works for a day then it stops/runs slow /wont go again.Ive decided not to waste any more time anymore on it.The guarantee is meaningless really....

Have bought two replicas from Sarah. Both were battery not automatics and have kept perfect time for last 6 months. The quality is probably not any better than could be bought elsewhere the important thing is that you can take them back if anything does go wrong with them and get them fixed or replaced as she has a permanent location. They also repaired an original Tissot watch for me that two other repairs had not managed to fix properly (one in USA, one in Pattaya) so I can recommend them for any repairs that you may need.

She is located near the end of the last row of stalls to the left if you enter from Pattaytai.

I picked up a Rolex copy from a tout while sitting in a bar on Soi 8. He wanted 3000 baht. I got it for 700 Baht. Been working for three months without any problems.

Keep your bargaining skills honed, boys.

Can you confirm that you went to the right shop - Jack's?

There are 2 shops slap next to each other. Jack's is the one furthest from Pattaya Klang.

The other shop also sells copy watches, but they are only same same you can get on the street cheaper.

Is it possible this stuff is drying up in Thailand with all the crack downs. It's ages since I was even shoulder tapped with them lately. I know the BiB managed to clear those excellent handbags out of Pattaya (don't tell me different) so I wonder if they've gone after the watches as well?

High quality copy watches & copy other stuff can be found in Bangkok at MBK.

MBK is near to Siam square.

Haggle over the price & good watches tend to be heavy & ask them to seal them so when you shower they do not get water inside them & damage them.

Most copy watches in Thailand are crap.

Good quality copy watches are not cheap from my experence & believe me I have purchased many over the years.

good tip about sarah's .I will go there in future.thanx-TB

Love the name. You talkin' to me?

I went to Sarah's last trip. While I did not buy anything due to a complete lack of knowledge about what constitutes a "good" and "bad" copy, I did notice that she carries quite an extensive selection of time pieces. I am hoping I can take someone with me this time as I really would like a decent copy watch.

Jack on Soi Buackhow, 3-4 shops from the end..his replicas are top notch and he usually has 3-4 different grades on tag, rolex, panerai,etc.. have bought many over the years...no problems ever.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction - "it was just the internet.." is not an excuse.

If you are making a Visa run, the Russian Market in Phnom Penh, I have bought 15-20 watches there over the years. I never pay over $18-20 US (700 baht). I always buy battery run watches. I have had a couple stop here, just take them into the local watchman and get a new battery. They have everything you can get in Bangkok.

The other end - near Pattaya Klang - this one is the furthest away of the 2 shops from Klang i.e. on the right as you face them.

Anyone got the co-ordinates or go look on Pattaya Photo Guide (link above).

There is another one at Tukcom end - Pattaya Tai in the back of the fruit market.

As others have mentioned, Jack is the guy to see!

Pattaya Klang side of soi bukhao, about 4 shops in. There are two watch shops side by side, go to the one on the right further in on soi bukhao. He's a great guy and has a big selection of watches.

Someday, somebody will ski that

Went to Jack's today (Soi Buakao) and Mr Fucked Up Eye (Pattaya Tai markets). Unfortunately for me they had a much smaller selection of Franck Mullers on hand than they did during Songkran earlier this year, but their price has dropped. So reconnaisance mission complete - will sleep on it. 2000 baht is still alot of money to pay for a fake.

How hard have you guys bargained at these places? Will I look like a cheap charlie idiot if I hold firm at 1500?

I've already had eyes rolled at me today at Tuk Com :ShitHappens1:

Cheap Charlie?? Who cares,, offer what you will pay right before you are ready to leave.. If too cheap they will let you walk.. Just tell them is your last day, and you promise to take one home to neighbor, Never pay the asking price, and most times will cut the original by 60% or more.. I like to watch to see what others pay, and often wonder how they ever get out of Thailand with money for the trip home.. Only watch I paid 2000B for was 007 Omega, with the wood box and papers, The upscale one.. and a couple of ceramic Chanel watches for the wife, when they first came out... Over a year old and all run good... I have 4 Movados a Rolex, and over a dozen Seiko watches, all real, and like the fakes for everyday wear.. The watches with the Tachyometer on them are weird, as not many know how to use the dial.. I do like the ones with the timer ring that moves.. Got a couple with inside slide rules, but too small to read.. It does seem that the Rolex bought in BKK seem to have terrible bracelets that like to snag my shirts, and will scratch the skin if not careful.. Tags are great, and look even better than many seen in the stores here in the States. The tags cost 1000B although they had some cheaper, and looked like it. It is funny that now you see no Tiger Woods tags, like were all over the place before.
