Turkish Airlines seem to have deals on at the moment for flights London to Hong Kong for 390GBP for flying in September.

 

Anyone had experience of flying long-haul with them?

ye done that . flew to instabul , on to bkk and return . everything was good . if price and more importantly flight times are up to par

I've flown with them twice, no complaints.

Flown with them to Istanbul from JFK. Not bad at all and definitely wood fly with them again without any worries.

Istanbul to BKK return once, No nothing to complain.

Have flown with them EU to BKK several times because of good prices.

 

Service is OK.

 

Last time I was not so lucky in Istanbul as the flight to BKK was 8 hours delayed.

 

They did put me up for a free lounge visit with free food and drinks and a comfy chair for 7 hours so can not complain too much.

The food they serve is delicious, but lady thai may not like your bad breath!

Turkish airlines is one of the best choices IMO. It has the best economy class food award, in addition the planes are secure and comfortable.

Unfortunately Turkish Airlines is so competitive in pricing, which makes things harder for us (BM living in Turkey) because plane ticket prices increase because so many people choose Turkish Airlines to fly to BKK.
