LK renaissance or Pattaya Beach Resort?

Which one is better, LK Renaissance 1 Bedroom suite or Pattaya Beach Resort Mini Suite? Almost same price.

 

I have not been to both, which has better quality, service, facility, location, proximity to baht busses ..etc.

 

Any help will be great.

I'd stay at the PBR in a deluxe room if I was you - the difference between the suite and a deluxe room is a sofa bed and 900B a day.

I've stayed at both and much prefer LK. The amenities at PBR are rather basic compared to LK. PBR also has more of a guesthouse feel vs. the higher end vibe of LK. LK is definitely a 4-star boutique hotel with fancy lobby, superior bathroom, etc. Also LK is surrounded by bars, laundry, barber shops, and Family Marti right across the street.

i can only speak for lk renaissance as i have stayed there before. Its fantastic in every way apart from the fact that the shower is not attatched to the wall, ie you have to hold the bloody thing up to get a shower which is a big disappointment, especially if you like taking a shower with your lady.

Please guys dont be telling me this now or i call the police...i am staying p.b.r from next monday for 3 weeks ,(on the advice of this site)900bt a nite one night free per week..19,500bt thought i done good..couldnt be arsed holding the shower tho like at LK..lady washing is my speciality...

The room you will be staying in at PBR is very small. You could do much better at one of the guesthouses in the Soi LK Metro area.

You'll be fine. The PBR is a great hotel, good value, has fabulous staff and is in an easy central location. The standard rooms may be on the small size, but the beds are huge and very comfortable and there is no need to hold the shower up while you wash down your barfine... Enjoy!

Mate, you'll be fine. This thread is talking more about the high-end rooms.

 

You won't get a room at LK for 900bt a night & PBR has good reviews.

cheers brewster,gazman for your comments...to be quite honest id sleep in the back of a songtaew if i meant i was in pattaya..im quite happy to stay in P.b.r for now, maybe check out a few guesthouses should the baht drop any more on my next trip,and good luck Tariq in L.k have a great trip fella we compare notes when you get back..bring on the lady washing
