Technically speaking, medications such as Viagra and Cialis etc are only supposed to be sold in Thailand under a prescription from a medical practitioner. Being Thailand, you can in fact just walk into most pharmacies in Pattaya and just buy whatever you want without a prescription.

 

If you are taking your own medication into Thailand it is probably best to take a letter from your Doctor explaining that these are legally prescribed med's. Although unlikely that Thai Customs will give a stuff about taking E.D. drugs into Thailand, that should prevent any possible difficulties.

 

As pointed out, medications of all sorts including Valium, Anti-biotics etc can be bought freely over the counter at ridiculously cheap prices. Unless you are fortunate enough to come from a country where these med's are also sold cheaply, it makes more sense to buy your supplies once you arrive in Thailand. Trust me, the Pharmacist won't bat an eye no matter what you ask for.

The secret is to understand the prices. In Perth the pharmacist pays $A54 for 4 Tabs and sells them for $80. He can negotiate but there is not much room to move. The same tabs in Pattaya start at 2000bt but if you tell them you can get for 800bt near your hotel then you can usually get a big discount. This forum is great b..ecause we now know the "local rate" is about 800bt...Thanks for the info guys

Never really tried one of these Sex enhancement drugs and don't really need them yet (touch wood).

I guess everyone is different and effects will vary as well. For me i've taken a few times just to try, never had a problem or required them. Didn't have any issues once i stopped taking them (Took 1 a day for a week) The only side affects i found was a slightly flush feeling and that trying to pop was a mission, in the end it was like a custard truck hitting a brick wall !

This thread seems to point out that Pattaya has a bunch of different generic brands to choose from.

 

What're the going rates of each? Which is purchased most often? Why is the Kamagra gel 44bht/ea vs the Cialis-knockoff more like 200bht/ea? Is it their effectiveness?

If you buy a larger quantity the Kamagra tabs are only 50 baht each (and i cut those in half) and the gels are under 40 baht each. I find Kamagra works well for me taken 1 hour before.
