BKK is slowly building.

Lots of threads on it. Government is cutting of and circling the reds. Reds supporters maybe heading to bkk.

 

Pattaya appaers uneffected by violence, but very quiet.

There has been no news here about the political problems and everything is very peaceful, except in my hotel room. Lol

Do you think they will close the Airport

The start of my trip is Monday the 17th with scheduled arrival in BKK @ 11 am local time the 19th.

Fingers crossed, of course I may divert to AC as some members have stated.

Its hard to imagine a scenario where patts would become dangerous.

Well apart from losing your wallet, your hard money and 50KG's of sperm. ;)

 

But I don't think problems at the airport can be ruled out, IF the escalations continue AND more leaderless reds head in from the provinces looking to make an impact.

I came throught he airport tuesday evening, plenty of army around, 2 seperate checkpoints on the way in

saying that each checkpoint only had 5 or 6 soldiers, so if a bus load of reds turned up it may be overran easy enough
