I read somewhere that Eastany group charge for guests if you have book with agoda? Someone booked with agoda on any of Eastany groups hotel? or know if they take charge overnight guests? if fee how much charge?

 

I know they don´t charge if you booking Direct on the hotel homepage.

I think your right, it depense how you make your booking. On my question about joinerfee I got the following reply:

 

If you pay money direct to hotel free joiner but if you booking under the travel agency have to pay for lady joiner.

When I looked Agoda was not cheaper. They have a rate and then add a charge which makes them virtually the same rate as if you book direct.

I made a booking with Eastiny Seven hotel recently via www.booking.com When you make your booking you need to select 2 guests.

 

Then it's a VERY good idea to email the hotel direct to clarify the RULES regarding any joiners. Do this in plenty of time and with most bookings made via Booking.com, you can cancel with at least 3 days notice and no penalty, if you don't get the response you want from the hotel. As far as I am aware if you have booked for two at the Eastiny group, there is no joiners fee if you bring back one further guest.

 

I cannot comment further as I cancelled and went to Angeles City instead, because of the troubles in Bangkok.

Eastiny Plaza on soi 8, They have a site,Just make sure you say 2 guest. A second girl will cost ya 300 baht a night.

I mail one of the hotel in Eastany group and get this reply... So it´s look ok... Maybe there are different RULES for hoteles in there group.

Whenever you book with Agoda.com ALWAYS fill in the 2nd guest section - just put Mrs Smith or something.

 

This prevent issues and also confirms two breakfasts.

 

Price is 99% the same for booking single or double occupancy.

The charge is the tax.

 

Tax often makes Agoda around the same price, usually still a little cheaper. However the "value" at Agoda is the loyalty points scheme, especially if you are a regular traveler as you can use the points in their hotels worldwide.

Thats is INCORRECT providing you book double occupancy with Agoda in the first place i.e. complete the 2nd guest section on the booking form - just put Mrs Smith,

 

If you do NOT fil in the 2nd guest section you are booking "single occupancy" and the hotel is quite within it rights to apply its own policy at that point.

anyone stayed in the Eastiny Balla Vista, bear Soi 7, its cheap, decent looking quality, and in a handy location too, surely there wouldnt be a Joiner Fee in this area ( i have stayed in Sunshine Soi 8 before , no joiner fee there )

Any time I book with Agoda I always book Mr. and Mrs. It is no extra charge and you get a breakfast for that long time.
