Am I missing something or Dancewatchers does not post their rates?

 

Anyone used this service before?

Some of the rentals have the rates posted on the website and some don't. The ones that don't have the rates posted probably depend on the length of stay and the time of year as well.

I am currently renting a condo from him and it is great! I have also rented from him on previously and have had great experiences as well. His condos and services are excellent. I believe the rate varies by room as well as the length of the stay. If you cannot find the rate send him a email and I am sure he will get back to you quickly.

however in this case I beleive that you have taken losworld's post in the wrong way. I personally do not beleive that

this post was designed to offend but was in fact designed to be a humorus one liner with reference to a "Ladyboy" having a

key to the accomodation being provided.

In my short time as a member of this board I have come across many such one liners some more obviously a joke than others.

Totally agree with you "whitespider". Tik is 100% female and a sweetheart and Mike (Dancewatcher) is an great guy as well. Tik delivered 2 dozen roses and a teddy bear for me once and the delivery and pictures that they took of the flowers being delivered was outstanding. Everyone that saw the roses thought that the roses were fake because they were so big and beautiful.

 

(Is there anyway to change "losworld" reputation to '-10'? He sure deserves it after that comment.)

I've booked one of DW budget condos for upcoming trip in June / July:

Although I had a couple of cheaper offers from other BMs, I chose DW because of their long standing good reputation on the board; no offence to the others. DW condos, even the budget ones, have a lot of nice touches such as king size beds, western mattresses, fully equipped kitchens, LCD etc. Emails to Tik were always answered promptly & questions answered satisfactorily where she could.

 

Their website is full of information, not just about the actual condos, but about the surrounding amenities; maps, newbie guide, local bars & lots of pics of sexy TGs on there too! Although there is a lot of information, the website seems a bit haphazard & seems to have been cobbled together. Some of it is not logically structured & it is easy to get lost.

 

One thing you could consider is the exit laundry / cleaning fee of 800B (more for luxury / 1 bedrooms). I did stumble across this on the website before booking, but these charges could easily be missed. Read the small print as they say. I see no reason why these charges cannot be included in the monthly rate, so this does smell a bit.

 

DW require a $200 deposit for budget condos, which is non refundable. Let's hope the troubles are over next month, or I've done my dough. There are various payment options, including WU, Thai Bank transfer & PayPal; I chose PayPal. An extra cost is the 3.5% fee charged by PayPal in order that DW can withdraw his funds. My bank was debited £135.71 for the deposit, which translated to 5800B credit towards the room payment. Now £135.71 * 47B = 6378B, therefore there will be an extra cost ~ 600B to consider.

 

There is a 3000B security deposit to pay upon arrival. I don't mind this, as it will more than cover the leccy / water bill at then end. That way, I concentrate on spending my money without worrying about the bills at the end of the month; except the taxi to the airport of course...must write that down.

I think its one of those inevitable things about boards, the more you know someone and they know you, the more liberties you can take. I am truly fortunate to know Dancewatcher and have met Tik on many occasions, I therefore took offence at that remark myself. Happily White spider stepped in with a balanced response before me but family and friends are just that, which means you defend them, whatever.

Just got back from Pattaya 1 week ago and I stayed in one of the Dancewatcher Condos and wanted to share my thoughts of the place.

 

After 8 years of going to Pattaya 3 times a years I will never stay any place else if is not at the Dancewatcher Condos. LOVED IT I just got from my first stay in my April/May 2010 trip. It was absolutely brilliant. I mean every angle about it was great. The check in the stay the Check out. The Location is perfect. The Rooms were perfect and everything you could ask for.

 

You can come in thru the 2nd Road side and it had a private entrance on the beach road side that was sweet.

 

There are lights everywhere and you could turn on or off or dim them all separately. That was nice especially when I had a guest in the room. Very nice and romantic.

 

My fav is a strong and very cold AC and a big ceiling fan with a remote I might add. I felt so spoiled damit mannnn... lol

 

The kitchen wow it had a huge fridge for alot of drinks and something I had never seen in a room Pattaya a Microwave. A great sink and it had all the dishes and pots and pans and utensils you could need in a kitchen it was all there to do your thing or get a teerak to hook you up.

 

The Bed OMFG!!! The bed was I think bigger that a king size. It was like a big play ground. Nice and Very strong. It had this type of custom very high quality pillow top mattress. Very top of the line. Just like the one I have at home. There were cabinets and drawers everywhere. The Wall unit / Closest were perfect for all the shit I always take. I like cloths and take alot with me and there was plenty of room for all my shoes and shirts and hats and everything else. That wall unit covers that whole wall next to the bed and when you close the doors it is mirror from floor to ceiling now that was to cool heheheheee. The TV OMFG the TV was this huge flat screen like 46 or a 50 inch TV. Holy crap that thing was great. With a Surround Sound system all around the room. I fell in love with the TV lol. They have this great and very comfortable Sofa and a table and chairs very confy.

 

The bathroom has a walk in shower very nice with one of those hand held shower heads that you can move with the hoes. Great toilet like American style and with the water hoes on the side for when you eat that Spicy Thai Food. 55555 Had a big mirror on the whole wall over the sink and a small very convient mirror behind over a little shelf.

 

Then there is the balcony. Alot of people complain about that they face the Mall and new hotel. Well it did not affect my tip in the least and I was on the 16th floor. I could see the ocean if I looked to my left and I look forward and I could see the town with the mall there below. I don’t see the big deal. Just to sit there was so relaxing. But I for one did not come for the view off the balcony so I could care less what side it faces. But the view is not bad. Oh yeah they have these big thick great curtains that when you close them it blacks out the room. I was like Hellll yeah!!!

 

All my girls LOVED the room. I could not get them to leave or most of the would call me if they could not work and stay with me or call me at night if they could jus meet me there. Or call me during lunch and come over. They loved it.

 

The room is so dam clean holy crap I was like wow very impressed it was completely furnished with top of the line furniture.

 

No bullshit or cutting corners no were, top of the line everything. I totally 100% recommend these condos. And when I go back in August and in the future that is exactly where I will be staying from now on. No more hotels or anywhere else for me.

I think I missed to write a few things in. I stayed at the View Talay 6 and if I not mistaken the priceses for these are post on the Dancewatchers website.

 

Just wanted to add on what is the lobby floor the have all kinds of shops and stuff. Like a mini mart. massage places, travel agencies, there is the BEST cafe down there called Wee-Laa Coffee. They offer all kinds of foods from Thai food to Western food. Now I am a Chef by Trade back home and let me tell you when comes to food it is not easy to satisfy me (yeah right). There food is amazing. I am not lying when I tell some of the best thai food I have tasted in LOS. The Western food is great. They also offer room service. They have some of the most niceest people working there. They were awesome! They also have laundry shops that provide great service and deals for the buidling. There is also a salon for the teeraks. That was cool I my girls would get happy when I wanted to sleep and I just sent them down stairs they would get all kind of stuff then come back to the room. And well yeah. lol There was alos relastate companies. Security at the front of the building, also in the building parking lot and in the lobby in front of the Eleavators that was cool. They always greeted me with a smile.

 

At the View Talay 6 they have this giant swimming pool. It is very nice.

 

Every one that worked there were amazing.

I have stayed in View Talay 2a a few times and would echo all the compliments of Mike and Tik.

 

Both are very pleasant and I was very satisfied each time I stayed there.
