Sorry mate, never seen good quality in Patts, but can give you an idea of prices for watches

Rolex or something similar is 900-1000 baht, anything more is a rip off

Other brands like armani or something alike-150 baht

Copy from Switzerland, these are the real deal and are the best copies-7000 per watch.

The only place i know where to find those is BKK, in Pantip plaza, the security equipment shops on the ground floor. It is not open so you have to ask.

PS. Swiss copy is well worth the price, not only they have swiss movement but are identical in everything including the color of chrome.

Hope it helps

PS. How to spot the swiss copy from cheap copy? Swiss copy will be extremly detailed down to serial number being inprinted on the back not a sticker, much heavier, different tones, usually never shown on the table and kept away in the boxes(they also cost big $$ to buy for the sellers.)

I know quite a bit about replica watches... too much to type here but... register for the forums on www.repgeek.com and look at this thread : http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=87749&highlight=bangkok

It even gives you a nice map and photographs of the shop . Do your research on that forum before going so you know what to look for. My replicas are all off the internet and it's very hard to tell the good ones from the gens. I can afford the real deal but just don't see the point when I can get 99% for a fraction of the price!

There are threads on here but this search engine wouldn't find them if you put the exact title in.

There are 2 shops. One at the Pattaya Klang end of Soi Buakhao - the right hand one of the two as you face them. The other is at the Second Road end of Pattaya Tai opposite the temple and behind the fruit & veg and fish stalls.

I think Alex the Hedonist or Laamok could tell you more.

With all the crackdowns on counterfeit stuff here lately, it may not be a good idea to post this info' any more.

If a mod wants to delete it feel free.

Price depends on the quality. the 200 or 450 baht rolex is the cheapest copy there is and will most likely start to go rusty in 1-3 months. the 1000 baht copy lasts for about 2-3 years(look wise)

The watches are still here - for now. See my post above.

The good copy (read stolen out the back door of the factory) bags, purse and wallets are long gone from Pattaya. The GF was in the trade and thought she knew who to get some for my daughter but no chance - the BiB confiscated them out of business a year or two ago.

Mate sorry to say but this kind of copy's do not apply to watches or anything that is NOT made in China.

Copy's you talking about are still around and are easily found.I been in this business for almost 10 years and also got a mate who runs a huge company, so just to explain how it works.

There are a number of ways

1. Example Nike orders 1000 pairs of shoes.Factory makes 1000 but so it turns out 100 pairs have a fault such as logo is not straight. Agent will go to the factory to check out the fault and make sure it is destroyed. Agent gets some pocket money to go have a coffee and when he is back "all is burned"

2. Nike orders 1000 pair of shoes and will need so much material to make it. Jim Wong makes the shoes for Nike, while John Wong the brother has exactly the same factory just around the corner. So Jim orders enough material for 2000 pairs and sends enough material to John to make another 1000.Agent again gets pocket money to confirm some were faulty and hence double the material.

3. Nike orders 1000 pairs, factory makes 1500. 1000 goes to Nike, 500 goes as "copy"

This is one of the reasons why all the identical 100% copies come from China and always the latest models, while copies from other country's always seem to lack behind and never look the identical.

PS. Company's like Armani always had "made in Italy" but this is not true, the material comes from Italy but very often it is assembled in China, upon arriving back to Italy, they put one a few things like tags and then can call it made in Italy, because by law item must be assembled to a certain % in that country to make it "made in"

In regards to watches, not many but some brands make it in China and hence the "good" copy that comes from China, all the rest come from Taiwan, just a cheap factory.

Most big names who manufacture is China, do not actually own the factory but use company's like Linmark to find factory for them and make it as well. Linmark has offices all across SE Asia, Singapore, Australia and few other places, they do all the running around to find the factory's and send agents to check up on the work. But no matter how hard they try to keep agents straight, its little hard when agents get very very good pocket money for a coffee.

The handbags, purses and wallets I bought three years ago were presumably from China then. The boxes, embossed tissue paper, QC certicates were all so perfect they had to be as you describe. If you're saying they are still available in Pattaya I'd be grateful if you'd PM me where. I still have a (well worn) LV wallet and the quality is superb. It's nothing like any of the stuff I've found in Pattaya or Phnom Penh.

Re the watches, I don't doubt you know what you're talking about. I was just trying to be helpful in pointing the guy to the only two sources I've heard of in Pattaya.

If someone could find the thread from about a year ago, there were several illustrious members and watchaholics who did the pointing and posted many pics of the watches they'd bought from the two shops. I may be wrong but I think Alex the Hedonist and Laamok were two of them.

I left my real Tag in UK for safe keeping and it got stolen.

I don't even wear a watch here or carry a handbag. Peace. :D

I have not seen anything in Pattaya, may be some shops have it in the back. I only know of places in BKK, if you need to know there, just let me know and also what you want to buy and will tell you which shops and where :Good_Post:

I have bought a "copy Rolex" from the shop at the back of the fish market(in February) it has everything the "real" rolexes have and is an excellent copy it has the correct hand style and size, the correct diameter face, the eye glass is the proper thickness/magnification and it was tested in the shop for water and pressure resistance. i keep my real Rolex in Europe and on matching the two it is initially hard to tell the difference even the weight is close. The prices vary from obvious fake to very good copy and from which model you require (Daytona, Submariner, Explorer, Sea Dweller etc) and so far have had no problems with the watch.I have been jet skiing and scuba diving and still working no problems. Highly recommended for the price i paid.

Whenever I want a fake watch I always go and see Mr Wong on South pattaya Market. He has a very good reputation. He sells cheap fakes and some very good quality fakes which cost more. He has a proper brick shop in the centre of the market. And he will happily test the watches before you buy it. And if the strap is to big for your wrist he will take out a couple of links for you so that it fits perfectly

You have to go South Pattaya Road opposite the Tempel Monchul or same this. There is a big Market with vegetables and on the backside you will found Mister Wong. God price and qualitie.

Im wearing a 100 baht watch on my wrist at the moment - got this one from the outside market at the Avenue shopping area (second rd, opposite the Wonderful bar/ Soi Yamato).

It works fine, looks good and tells me the correct time.

Ive got a couple of pricey posh Swiss watches but this one does for everyday use...

THE place to go for a watch in Pattaya is Sarah's inside the wet market on Pattaya Tai. She has top quality watches and guarantees them. This stall is well documented on other forums.
