update: The Apple store dealership in Tukcom told me I have to go to Bangkok to get my Ipod serviced, for officially licensed Apple butt rapist prices and service(battery replacement) So still looking around for a Ipod battery, I can replace it myself just need the hardware. Was told about a place called "Airport" where they carry Ipod batteries but could'nt located it. Will try again today.

I got my iPod fixed in Pattaya about a year ago. I found a guy that has a shop in the back of an internet cafe about 5 - 10 meters up Soi Buahkow 15(?)from the intersection at 2nd Rd. From what I can tell on the map, Soi Buahkow 15 is the road that runs from Soi Buahkow down to the back side of the Avenue shopping mall and then follows sort of parrallel to 2nd rd before it finally intersects at 2nd rds. It wasn't Apple authorized work, but that didn't matter anyway as I had already changed the battery a couple of times myself (probably the source of my problem). He charged me about $500 Baht to fix one of the flex tape wires- pretty intricate stuff.

Good Luck
