Hi, just looking on flights for my next holiday in october, found cheapest flight from Oman Airways 388£ London-Oman-Bangkok return.

 

Other cariers are like 475 Jet Air (used before they ok)

 

Eve 650£ for direct.

 

so its huge difference, just wonder about airline, and Oman airport itself?

 

I went through Bahrain before, it as ok.

 

Any info please?

flew with them before, wasnt the best airline, like possibly no tvs, cant quite remember now, but definately not high in my list. i wouldnt worry about it too much though, £100+ saving is a nice sum to save!

i flew with oman airways a year or so ago, was ok service and that but no personal in flight t.v's etc just some t.v screens that drop down here and there that showed a couple movies so wasnt the best really. the airport was basic aswell the toiletts werent the cleanest if i remember correctly. though they did lay on a free food buffet on the return journey. i guess their not a bad option for the price though having flown with them now id rather go with a half decent airline and pay a bit more. also on the return flight i think they messed up with the bookings or summin because we had people on our flight that were meant to have left the day before but due to problems had to spend an extra day in bkk. hope some of this info helps anyways
