I've stayed at both Secrets and Classroom1. I like both of them.

The nice thing about Secrets is that you don't have to go outside to go to the bar. All of the Secrets staff in the 'hotel' are very friendly as well. Very trustworthy hotel staff as well.

Classroom1 has a little bigger refrigerator in the room and they also have a microwave in each room as well. Each room has a balcony; either a 'mini' balcony or a larger one. If you stay in the Deluxe Apartments at Classroom1, they room is definitely bigger than Secrets as well.

Secrets' rooms come stocked with snacks and things in the refrigerator, which of course you have to pay for if you or a BF happens to use. Classroom1 doesn't have snacks or things in the refrigerator that you have to worry about a BF using and you having to pay for later (I definitely like the idea of that).

Classroom1 rooms have dishes and cutlery to use as well. They don't have a 'kitchen' sink, you have to use the bathroom sink to clean them. However, they lady that cleans the room will take the dishes and clean them usually each morning and bring you clean ones.

I believe that at Classroom1 they change your bedding every 3 days but I don't know how often they change it at Secrets.

The cleaning lady at Classroom1 is very trustworthy as well and a sweetheart.

You can actually go up to your room from within the Classroom1 bar without going outside, but you can't go down to the bar from your room without going outside. The door that you leave from within the bar to go to your room locks itself as you go up the stars.

At Classroom1, there's a separate entrance to go to the rooms from outside the bar so you don't ever have to go into the bar to go to your room. The outside entrance, next to the bar entrance is always locked and you have 'sensor' that you pass infront of the door that unlocks the door to go up to your room. No one is there to check ID or anything as you go to your room, so this may bother some people. At Secrets, if you take an someone other than a girl that works at Secrets to your room, they have to show their ID at the front desk but I don't remember if they have to leave their ID there or not.

There isn't a charge for taking anyone to your room at either place.

At Classroom1, when I was there the first part of January 2010, Soi 13/4 can be a little noisy from about 7:30pm to 2:00am because there's a couple of clubs there (I believe 1 is a ladyboy club) that play music outside that can get rather loud at times. However, Soi 13/4, totally shuts down at 2am so it's nice and quiet then. You may hear a little noise from the traffic on 2nd Rd, but really it didn't seem to be much to me though.

Both places have nice beds.

Secrets have shower curtains in their showers and when I was at Classroom1, they didn't have shower curtains.

(Classroom1 rooms were still being built when I was staying there, but I don't think that have shower curtains still.)

Both seem to have very good airconditioning in their rooms.

Secrets has room service in their rooms, but Classroom1 doesn't. However, I know that even though Classroom1 doesn't have a kitchen where they prepare food, I know that you can order food down in the bar and it will be delivered to the bar, but that may not be very good if you want to have breakfast delivered because the bar doesn't open until 12noon.

The one thing that I like about Classroom1 is that people aren't constantly seeing who you're coming and going with like they do in Secrets. It seemed like when I was staying at Secrets, everyone that worked at the hotel and bar knew who I took to my room or if I didn't take anyone to my room. Classroom1 seems more private when it comes to who you take to your room.

Great report Allen, I usually stay at Sercets because I like to stay close to the Walking Street action but I was thinking about giving Classwoom 1 a try, I was worried about the LB action but I think its something I can deal with

Cheers

The 2 weeks that I stayed there, the only lady boys that I saw were the ones that appeared to work in the lady boy club across the Soi from Classroom1. There's supposedly a gay club next to Classroom1 on the same side of the Soi, but I never did see any lady boys in front of it.

As far as walking down Soi 13/4, I don't ever remember seeing any lady boys walking down the Soi either. It seems like they all stay in "Boys Town" so you aren't bothered.

I think that you'll like staying at Classroom1 'hotel'.

John is the name of the manager that takes care of the hotel section of Classroom1.

Thank you so much for your update Allen, I will be in Pattaya on my way back from China late June and now planning to stay at Classroom 1, thanks to u. I always like to stay close to Walking Street as I always find my girls around there for some reason. I keep telling my self that I want to try the action around LK Metro since every one seems to love it there but every time I end up where I am comfortable with.

I will report on my experience @ classroom 1, Hoping this coming trip will be as good as the ones before it. Best of luck to you as well.

No problem.

I think that Classroom1 gets overlooked a lot because of it's location near Boyztown.

You won't be disappointed with your stay in their hotel; I guess it's called the Class Rooms.

One of the most popular girls there seems to be Dao. She knows English very well (even though she doesn't think she does). Noo, the hostess, is also very nice and knows English as well. Many of the girls there are also very nice to talk to and you don't get mobbed by a bunch of girls hoping you'll buy them lady drinks either.

Thanks for a very good report,I was thinking of staying at Secrets next time I'm in Pattaya

due to its proximity to the action of Walking Street. I will now consider the option of Classroom 1

as this seems a good alternative not that far awway and probably a good beal quieter after 2am. :Circle_Sharks:

Definitely less noise at the Class Rooms after 2am than at Secrets hotel. However, when I stayed at Secrets hotel, it really wasn't that loud as some people like to say; at least in the two different rooms on the top floor that I stayed at.
