Any one had any experience of the lk renaissance pentlouse suite to report?

Myself and 2 friends are considering renting it next trip, went to have a look and the room is very nice but not sure on the location as we will want to go to Walking Street every night, also although they have told us no joiner fee I was curious as to any bm's experiences either with the hotel or this particular suite?

Can anyone perhaps recomend an alternative closer to walking st but still having 3 seperate ensuite bedrooms plus outdoor private jaquizzi or pool?

thanks

Great hotel, Great Staff, Great Location. Close to LK Metro, Soi Diana Beer Bars. Easy Bhat bus access.

Other then the price (kinda expensive) it's all good.

I've wanted to do the SPAM WORD thing too. Maybe i'll get it together for my January trip. Let us know how it goes.

The penthouse and the rest of LK Renaissance is very nice. Great service and reasonably priced for what you get. I'm staying there again in June. In fact, I stayed there for over month back in 2008.

As for the location, it's a quick walk to Beach Road. I like to use the quiet alleyway to the right of Mike's Shopping mall. Cars aren't allowed down that street and there's a lot of art shops and tattoo parlors. It makes for a pleasant stroll.

I have had friends stay in there, and I have stayed there also.

I think they want 14,000 baht a night, but they will go down to 7000 baht a night, if pushed.
