Cheapest beer in Pattaya

A new bar opened near my house on Soi Khao Noi a while ago. I decided to drop in yesterday due to them having a bottle of Heinekin for 45 Baht. While I was sitting drinking my beer I noticed that a bottle of Chang and Leo was only 29 Baht. Has anyone found any cheaper beer in a bar in Pattaya?

I am moving over in 2 weeks to East Pattaya & I will not be far fro Soi Khao Noi.

So i would like to try this value for money watering hole.

Could you tell me the bar name & where it is in Soi Khao Noi (Sukhumvit end or Khao Talo)

Sounds like you were in my local next to Government Savings Bank its a nice bar to have a drink in 4 big LCD TV's as well they usually put any big matches on.

 

Small Leo 29 large Leo 49 and I think a large Chang is 45 also Beer Lao 45 baht

Sounds like you were in my local next to Government Savings Bank its a nice bar to have a drink in 4 big LCD TV's as well they usually put any big matches on.

It is a bit further up the road from Hideaway. It is on the other side to the train track on the opposite side of the road (ie on the right heading away from Sukhumvit Road.) The place is called Beer and Coffe, I think. If I remember later today I will stop and take a couple of photos of the place.

3 years ago I used to drink in The Hideaway bar. The owner was an American named Mike.

You will see Bangkok Bank and Government Savings Bank either side of the entrance to Chockchai 7 the bar is next to Government Savings Bank you can't miss it.

 

As for the name of the bar its at the top of this board something like beer - beer bar or beer and coffee bar, these photo's were taken at the old location before they moved to where they are now just down the road prices and signs are still the same

if you don't want to venture over to dark-side, the eagle bar soi 7 has local beer for B35 and sang som for about the the same, always good for few before venturing on.

I have heard about cafe Uno and I should try beer there, it is not very hard to afford a beer and there are many good bars where you can get beer at min bahts.

White Lotus bar Soi Bhaukao, just down from Oasis, chang 35 baht. Most of the bars in Pattaya Plaza chang/leo from 35 baht.

I dropped in here last week for a couple of beers,nice place and it was good to just sit and watch the world go by.I'll be going again for sure as it's only just down the road from me.It was busy too and I have noticed a lot of other bars in Khoa Noi look fairly busy on a regular basis.

Maybe the darkside's starting to brighten up a bit ?

That's some really cheap prices for beer. however what is the atmosphere like? I take it there are no girls.shows? If cheer beer is what you are after why not buy a few take out from the 7/11 and drink at the beach.

No glass, no table, no chair, no ice if you want, no service, no background music or television with world championship, no toilets....

It is good to get some of the best beer as it will be the best option to have and I will suggest you that, while being there if you dont taste any beer there then it is your bad luck so just be there and experience the fine taste there.

 

There are many different stuffs that are really best to check and you can get some other options also, that are good to have.

New Plaza - off 2nd Road opposite Soi 7 Soi 8, leads through to Soi Buakhow - plenty of bars to choose from for cheap beer, starting with Micky's Bar - Heineken 50 but Tiger and other locals 35 last time I looked.
