I work for a major airline here in the UK. If you want to have a higher risk of being late, losing your bags or lack of in flight entertainment then go with one of the cheaper Indian Airlines (or British Airways at the moment!). However, and you all should know this by now, you get what you pay for. Personally, i have been in aviation for over 12 years, i will be opting for Thai Airlines or EVA Air for my trip in June. It's a mix between nice service, a bit of legroom and good customer care.

Welsh Wonder, didn't we meet in Pattaya a few months back and you showed me around Walking Street in particular Angel Witch ?

Read they are better thab JET and have a 5 star Skytrax rating - some flights go via Mumbai (you love it) with little delay others via Delhi with longer delays ......you going then? Let me know if your gonna book

Hows things? Heard not bad things about Kingfisher and at that price you really can go wrong. If its just a means to get to Pattaya then its fine, if you want a more service orientated Airline then go for one of the bigger one's but then again you have to pay for that.

Cheers

i have flown 5 times with jet airways and would recommend them to anybody. in my opinion the best airline i have ever flown with. never had any trouble with being late. (apart from feb 2nd 2009 when there was that 2 ft of snowfall overnight and we took off 3 hrs late, which was brilliant considering 90 percent of flights out of heathrow that day were cancelled). i am going with jet next week too, (if this fucking cloud fucks off)...

I've just booked with Kingfisher as I like a 'break' between flights... will let you guys know how it goes! I think all airlines misplace bags so it's just the usual lottery... I'm going to take two bags, one with all my important stuff in as carry-on and another for easily replaceable things. That would go for any airline not just this Kingfisher!

Dont forget guys you can use a cash back site to save a few quid on your flights. t snot much but may pay for a few of your drinks. Try Quidco or similar who all give cashback on Expedia etc.

Hope that helps.

Bollocks!! I have flown a number of Indian Airlines (Kingfisher is probably the best of them) both domestic and international and not once have I lost my baggage - it has never even been late.

Kingfisher is a great airline - probably amongst the Top 10-20 in the world.

I am flying with them next week.heard nothing but good things, new big planes and 5 start airline.. 389 all in :Chokdee:

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction - "it was just the internet.." is not an excuse.
