What Outlet Do I Need For My Computer in LOS

I'll be leaving for LOS in the near future, and will be bringing my laptop. What must I get here in the US so I can plug my computer in when I hit Pattaya?

 

Also, I would like to buy a cellphone after arriving there. Do all the cellphones in Pattaya work with a SIM card that can be bought in 7/11? Also, how much is a relatively cheap cellphone? I won't be using it when I return to the US.

i think any modern cell phone will work my old single band cel woudnt but my newer dual band would i just pop in a local sim card and im away adapter for your us plug (im sure i got a multi adapter at a 7/11 type place in mikes mall but many places will have them) and check that your laptop will run on 240v

Your existing mains electricity plug should fit the Thai sockets.

 

You can usually buy a very basic new phone for about B800. Check Carrefour & Tesco Lotus.

You can get an adapter at the Airport and all phones will work with the Thai sims cards.
