Was chocked at the sight when passed by this late afternoon.

Considering all the water being thrown around the streets you would have thought that some of it could have been directed at the fire.

Just had it confirmed that they estimate to re-open in approx. 2 weeks!

may be it is time to revamp with insurance money. Funny for this to happen in the middle of the day while there are hundreds of people running around stupid.

Would be almost impossible to prove how the fire started and to point fingers who did it

You obviously havn't been there during the day time...let me tell you,this place is packed to the rafters!

 

Also the demographic of the customer's is more around 40yr to 70yr...so your really not going to get to many of these guys squirting water, or how you put it..'running around stupid'.

If the bar was open, i am delightfully surprised that everyone got out safe, if the bar was closed at the time, i am not sure how your demographics stats relate to the area outside.

All i'm saying that this is a very busy go-go during the day time where others(go-go's) are quiet....so it would be using heaps of electricity & that hot sun wouldn't have helped either.....still trying my friend..cant get a hold of her.

the owner has plenty of cash, so no worries there, but I'm not sure what their policy will be on staff's pay during the repair time

Nothing to base it upon, but my guess as to their policy for staff while the repairs are being made is that they won't be paid

I think this was one of the first go-gos I went to way back when. I don't go there too often these days, but over the last holidays I went there, ran into a fellow boardie with his missus and had a few drinks.

 

I read somewhere that they want to reopen in 2 weeks(?) Is that possible? If they have a re-opening party, I bet it will be a big and jammed packed.
