ma maison or inn house hotel

hi mates...

anyone can pass some useful info about Ma Maison hotel & Innhouse hotel ?

im stayin 3 weeks in Pat next May and would like to stay close to everytin...

but i dont like the MARINE/VC hotel AREAS....sounds like a muslim area there..

I have stayed here, and it is decent. Great location, fridge and electronic safe in room and no hassles. AC and hot shower both acceptable. Free wi-fi in entire hotel; password given at front desk. Quiet, away from the noisy areas, and has a decent pool and a bar/food centrally located. Very clean and cozy.

 

However, a bit more than I want to pay anymore (looking to pay half that!), so not on my list.

The rooms of ma maison looks really great on their website but the rate of 1480 in low and 1780 in high season is a bit on the highside if you ask me. The swimmingpool looks nice but a bit small.

You can find almost similar hotels for less as half the price.

Personally one of my favourites is http://www.sabaiinn.com/ and in low season yours for +-700. Maybe not in your area but 10-20Baht and you be all around Pats with the songthaew!

Last year stayed 2 weeks and ended up paying 660/night. You can use the 4 pools at Sabai Lodge right accros Sabai Inn for free.

I stayed at the Inn House many times. Well run, rooms in a good shape, everything you need. Free internet, good restaurant at the entrance (with some hot waitresses). I like the seaview rooms, but there is only one real seaview room (801?) left since the neighbor building started. Location is great, in the middle of both bath bus directions. I never had any problem with this hotel!

I thought mamaison was overpriced, a bit dingey and musty, the bar and restaraunt was full of moustachiode men and their swinging looking middle aged French wives, and you have to walk through it to get to your room.

 

No thanks. But if you're married and French........
