Always used condom, got the herpes

controllah

Recommended Posts

Im having a 2nd outbreak of herpes 1 month after i first caught it LOS. I have never had sex without a condom in my entire life. Do do BBBJ though. I am very concerned about HIV with these sores, (yes i do care about my partners contracting herpes, but im fairly certain 90% or more of BG have it anyway). I want to get back to fuckin ASAP, whats the quickest way to get these sores to heal? Can i get it from the pharmacy or do i need to go to hospital? Plz help, for your own good lol. Also, is the 4th day without seeing any sign of it good to go? or should i wait longer?

While the board can be a valuable source of information and support, the best source of medical advice would be a doctor in this case. Were I you that's where I'd be headed.

Grab a 3gm tube of Aciclovir Cream from Boots Pharmacy or similar.(Zovirax etc.)

And Yes--Go to a Doctor for further tests.

No cure for Herpes unfortunately. A gift for life.

How do you know you have Herpes? It could be any number of things. You need to head to a doctor ASAP. You say you are fairly certain 90% or more of the BG's have Herpes? How in the world would you know such a thing? Just a question, I'm curious.

Not trying to cast judgment on the OP and not commenting on his case in particular, but the more I think about that statement about 90% of BG's having herpes, the more it scares me. I'm wondering how many mongers who have herpes and other diseases, in their minds, 'justify' them continuing to engage in risky sexual behavior with the thought that most of the BG's have these STD's anyways so no big deal.

No worries mate, it happens, its a lifestyle we have agreed to and we accept the risk....prevention is better than cure...now you have it...go and see the docter ASAP..don't wait...these things could get worse.

Before and after your travel to LOS make sure, you have more veggie and fruit diet than meat...just one month of healthy diet and you could avoid 90% of STD's.

Now also, try to avoid meat, alcohol, caffeine, milk based products, bread, and have atleast one salad, fruits and vegetable based diet a day...it would do miracles to your body and you will heal quickly.

good luck...no worries

Herpes is very contagious when the person is having an outbreak, that is the sores are visible. At this time you should not even touch the sores, this might be how you picked it up, eg oral sex or touching a sore then touching yourself somewhere. there are ointments that clear up the outbreak quickly (like the one named) but its with you for ever. However, over the years the outbreaks usually become less frequent, tho they can be brought on by stress, bad diet, rundown health etc. I spent 12 years living with a lady who had Herpes, she was very conscientious about her condition and very careful. I never caught it, thanks to her knowledge of what to avoid. its not the end of the world, you just need to consult a doctor and get the facts then learn to live with it. good luck to you

My friend (no honest...my friend) had herpes about 10 years ago - gave a girl it - she got it bad - he had it bad. He never had another outbreak.

10 years....

It is true once you get it you have it for life however the first outbreak is usually the worst. You could go years or your whole life without having another visible outbreak everyone varies. From what I know even if you don't see sores other people can catch them from you, however if you do see sores I would strongly advise against any sexual activity as it makes catching HIV much more likely.

I also agree you need to see a doc about this one.

acyclovir cream and tablets under brand names such as Cyclovir, Herpex, Acivir, Acivirax. Will deal with an outbreak and clear it up in about 5 days. Some people who have contracted Herpes get regular attack's, some find they can control these by taking a acyclovir tablet daily.

Herpes is extremely contagious from the first signs of an attack, which may merely be an itching sensation, which is when it is shedding it remains contagious for several days after the last signs of any blisters have cleared.

Condoms will not necessarily protect you from contracting Herpes. Some authorities believe that the level of Herpes infection in the USA stands at 1 in 500.

I got it diagnosed by doctor 45 days ago, she gave me acyclovir tablets for 10 days and that cleared it up. I know what it is, was just wondering if u could get the medicine without goin to the doctor to tell me what i already know i have. And no, im not continuing sexual activity, ive been alone in my hotel for 4 nights now. I dont plan on any sexual activity until 4 days after i see nothing. I know its still contagious, but far less likely if nothing is visible. As far as my opinion of 90% of bg having herpes, complete guess, may be a little high, maybe not. Google it, ,most estimates say 1 out of 5 Americans have the genital herpes virus. Logic dictates that in Pattaya that number is much higher than 1 out of 5. Remember, most people that have the virus never show any symptom of having it, but they can still spread it. Some people even believe that the day is coming when most of the world population will have the genital herpes virus in their system.

I just posted this in the Sagami thread, but maybe it's a pertinent Q here too:-

I noticed about 3 threads recently about guys having problems despite using condoms religously (how do you do that?).

As there seem to be some very knowledgable posters on here, I wonder whether we might go a little sideways and address the Q of cross contamination.

There is often a lot of foreplay and general gooey stuff goes on, especially in 3somes, before someone reaches (with somewhat sticky fingers) for the condom.

Various cockups (haha) can then ensue as some eejut first tries to put it on inside out and then turns it round or I've often seen BGs using a method whereby they put their fingers inside and stretch it to put it on - this after I've had them fingering themselves and/or their friend, or of course I might do it myself, which could be worse.

Then, after much further "ado", esp. in the case of 3somes, we come to the dreaded changeover.

These events are not exactly conducted under hospital type procedures and I'm curious how it can all happen safely without spoiling the moment/s.

CDC survey finds HSV-2 infection as one of the most common STDs in U.S.

10. March 2010 05:00

About 1 in 6 Americans (16.2 percent) between the ages of 14 and 49 is infected with herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2), according to a national health survey released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. HSV-2 is a lifelong and incurable infection that can cause recurrent and painful genital sores.

The findings, presented at the 2010 National STD Prevention Conference, indicate that herpes remains one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) in the United States.

The new estimate, for 2005-2008, comes from CDC's National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), a nationally representative survey of the U.S. household population that assesses a broad range of health issues.

Estimates of HSV-2 infectivity in Thailand are higher than observed in other Eastern Asian countries; total HSV-2 seroprevalence is approximately 37% in this country. HSV-2 seroprevalence is low in women in the Philippines (9%).

I could not find Pattaya specific statistics.

Take care DBJOHN

Acyclovir tablets are available in most pharmacies in Pattaya. A box of 5 blister packs of 5 200mg tablets usually costs around B200. No prescription required.

You can get HSV in any country, it's not isolated to Thailand.

I know what they say that most people probably have HSV1 anyway. And what you say about getting it anywhere is true but surely the chances are higher in somewhere like Pattaya as due to the sheer number of whores, not to mention how many of them don't seem to have any qualms about barebacking right?

The best advice you'll get - see a medical specialist...don't self-diagnose and then make matters worse by self-treating. BTW acyclovir cream is not normally indicated for genital herpes despite contrary advice here and on the internet.

It would be best to consult a doctor but Valtrex 500mg is one drug used to control outbreaks, zvoirax cream also vitamin B tablets is helpful along with a vitamin called Lysene.

I go to the local whore houses here in Sydney one that offer BBBJ from sexy asian ladies.

I got a choice from about 4-6 girls usually.

They service fellow Sydney siders all day, not just me unfortunately.

When I visit Pattaya I got to choose from many more girls sexy beautiful ladies.

Am I scared hell no, I'm excited beyond my dreams.

Any how I don't like the term whores, they are working ladies.

I worry about what I cam prevent HIV by using a condom.

I cannot go further than to see if the girls have sores.

Point is take every prevention for what you can avoid, if you monger.

If you are so worried don't have sex with anyone in Pattaya or at home.

I just think that because pattaya is so much more heavy on the sex scene compare to Patong that maybe there are maybe more infected girls in pattaya.
